Harrisburg has so many amazing little homes, and I think they'd be great to live in, but the flood zone scares the crap out of me.

West Palm Beach... we were looking in Lower Paxton but got outbid on a few places. Parents live in Susquehanna Twp. So we are close but not too close.
When I arrived here in 82, their was nothing! It developed, but unless you're earnings are in the 6 figures,you really can't live here comfortably, you have the city downtown or the hill, both places are noisy and have their uncomfortable perplexity, west shore ,too snobby, east shore too hostile. No middle ground!
I escaped from Harrishole back in 99. Still have mom and two brothers there to visit but i wouldn't move back there for anything.
If you live around front street second street... You're going to need flood Insurance.... It might happen Every thirty years or so

Who in the hell would move to Harrisburg on purpose? Lol. Even natives will admit the place is a cesspool. These realtor videos are pretty bold. Good luck to y'all though.
I disagree- I have lived in Paxtang for 8 years and LOVE our community. As far as crime, not sure where that number comes from, other than the high percentage of car accidents on Derry Street or maybe the drug robberies at CVS further down Derry towards 83.... Nvm.... to each his own....
Thank you for your feedback! I agree having been born and raised here that Harrisburg is a great place to live. Our statistics were mainly focused on Harrisburg city, not so much the outskirts like Paxtang and others. Thank you again for your comment and for watching our video!
