when you use the bench grinder, you file the outside, when you use a hand file you grind the inside. Why is that?

now im not him, but ill agree we are seeing a slight double bevel sort of sharpening. its not done that way on the grinder cause that’s hard and probably will hurt. in my mind the tools were more of a chisel, and not a knife blade, but now im thinking it doesn’t matter. if you are good like him haha. im a gajillion videos in on accomplishing the chatter he does so easily
