Just found this and it's absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to finally get my Grid. MLR is a classic! I believe Cheat Codes 2 might also be worth spending time with... So many options! Thanks for sharing!
Will do! I was gonna make one long video covering a few programs in Norns but found it's a little more clear when I stick to one program per video. More is on the way!
Fernanda Penna the grid is a monome, an OSC based controller that connects over USB. OSC is like midi but it lets you define values with names instead of using generic numerical messages. The two are not cross-compatible without using a program to do some translation, for what it’s worth. The grid and the mlr software shown in this demo can work with a computer, but here it is working with a standalone sound computer called Norns, which is the small box with the knobs and little screen on it.
This melody is so addicting, so good! Getting a Norns soon so this is very helpful to watch too, peace, take good care 🙏

I love how you teach and also create something beautiful.
I'm learning how to use monome grid and norns. That's really helpful ! Thanks a lot!
Great video, thanks for posting - I'm just waiting on shipping updates for mine.
Great demonstration of this thing. Looks like they might be available again in August. Keep making vids, please.
