Doesn't matter, if you have a suspended license and you're driving with a suspended license, more charges can happen. But if someone else is driving you to court and you're doing a video called with court, then you wouldn't get more charges.

His records were erroneously/negligently not updated, thus leading the court into error. According to the news item, he did turn himself in and spent two (2) days in custody by which time they discovered the "clerical error" and released him.
