Thanks for the vid.. When predrilling the lag screws, what was your drill bit size? So if you lag screw is 1/2" did you use a 3/16 drill bit? thanks again..
I don't remember but off the top of my head, 3/16" sounds too small. Probably 1/4" or maybe larger. Hold the bit in front of the lag. You should be able to see the complete threads on both sides and maybe a tiny bit of shank.
2 questions ❓ how long are your lag bolts? My lag bolt are pretty long. When I bolt it in the stud it does not want to screw in the stud. Other question. What is tool to screw in the lag bolt the silver piece call?
