Summer Fly Fishing the Current River in Missouri

- This is a video of a recent summer day out on one of my favorite streams! The trout were plentiful and cooperating, although I did have to hike significant distances to get some water to myself. There were a lot of fisherman there this day, and those I spoke to said they were catching plenty as well. That goes to show how great of a fishery the Current River can be. Anyways, these were all fish I caught on nymphs throughout various riffles and pools. It seemed like every piece of water that looked like there should be a fish there was at least one, if not several. These are the kind of days I dream about! Enjoy!

@@FishFearMe oh I definitely will!! I got a trip planned for the 11 point river soon. I am a beginner to fly fishing, using a GoPro, and editing lol. You can see my first video I posted when I was on the Current. Yes there is room for improvement lol 😂
@@LIVE4THEADVENTURE I watched it, just like anything else…practice makes perfect. You did a pretty good job for your first fishing video though and looks like you still got a bunch in the net. That’s half the battle!
@@FishFearMe yeah I missed a lot of my catches on the GoPro because the battery went dead and I I did not want to break away from fishing or the GoPro overheated and shut down. Your right I can only keep on learning and have fun doing it.
What section of the river is this?
I just went to one of the access points below the trout park and then hiked for a bit
