Hi, Yes Bulgaria is very safe for women living on their own, there is very ,very little crime especially in the rural districts. We personally know of a few female expats that are living here on their own and simply love it. Yes the local shop in the village is just a five minute walk from the property, there are four other little shops/bars in the village, and there is also a local market on a Wednesday too. Iv just bought a house not far from here single mum just me and my daughter all the neighbours were lovely came to greet us and they took us to the local shop [called a (magazine) in bulgarian everyone iv met are friendly hope thats a help 🙂

Hi, we haven't connected to the internet at the house , but we do get 5 bars on our mobile phones and always have a really good signal, there will be a few network providers to the village, we will do some further research to find this out. xx

Hi, there is a 90 days in every 180 days clause you need to look in to, especially if you are from a non EU country, We applied for residency before the UK Brexit, we have a five year term until we re apply , then it should go for 10 years.
You needed a new version after Brexit...one year extended to 18 months .to apply for it. Several years ago now!!!!!..the old one isn't valid@@fromfarmtoforeignlifebulgaria
I don’t think UK citizen is permitted to actually own the land. I think you have to form a company and purchase the land through that. Let me know if I am wrong pls.

You know what though. You need to have a little walk around the village and show people. What's around, to see if its suitable
