Mate cover slovenia sometime. I'm currently living there and things are so much better here than USA and Canada. I make videos about slovenia and probably will cover this in the future aswell but will love your perspective.

The problem is no matter how much time and effort you put into Dubai, they will never give you the respect of being permanent there. No matter what you do, you won’t get citizenship there!
If due to xyz reason your employer fires you, you will get a letter from their government to vacate the country within 28 days. No matter if you have a 10 bhk house and lambos and what not. The problem is you will be living there as a “labour”. You will get attached to the country but its people won’t get attached to you. You cannot say anything bad about their rulers, if you mess up with any national there, govt will take their side and ask you to leave. It gives a feeling that you are just a “Rat” there living for money without feeling of belongingness.
If you think i have said anything incorrect then please correct me and share your views. Thanks!

There's actually ways to get sponsored for and actually receive citizenship (just in case that's what interests you). Moreover, if you make enough bank working there for 5 years tax-free, I still think it's a pretty good deal.

All countries have taxes, usa and canada have excellent social security, and after retirement benefits.
India has zero social security and retirement benefits but equal tax rates.

As long as UAE has their oil economy they are less likely to impose taxes. That's a plus... Right? I'm more than happy to lose Democratic perks over money dude.. So UAE is a treat for me 😅😂

UAE has less job vacancies right now and 2 years before. The companies don't give much salary for freshers from overseas compared to arab freshers. Even if someone is well experienced from overseas, the salary would still be less compared to people who have only UAE experience. Nowadays most people are getting through WASTA which nobody can tell you how these Arabs got their job. Everything is expensive.

How does UAE benefit from immigrants? Would be interested in more detailed videos of UAE from your experience and others experience so far. Upsides and downsides too, who would it be bad for?

I would recommend you to come UAE only if you have a background in business, civil or computer. There is not much scope for other branches. I have a degree in mech engg from bits dubai . Majority of my friends are either looking to migrate or still searching for jobs. You need to pull a lot of strings and have recommendations in order to get in a good well paying job. So think twice before making a decision.

@@franklinfrancis2754 it's improving by the day bro. Have you heard of any scams in the last 5 years. Corruption is down. A lot of things have become digitized, so the scopes of bribes is reduced severely. Welfare schemes are also being implemented efficiently. We are heading in a good direction. That's my analysis. Maybe another decade to see big results, but these subtle changes portent a good future.

So obviously a few things to keep in mind. While the UAE may not tax you as high, you must be willing to live in that type of culture. If saving your money is the only thing your worried about, yes maybe that's the country for you. If you enjoy going out for a few drinks, sorry, you'll not like UAE. If you are gay, you could be sentenced to death as it's illegal to be anything but heterosexual. What a great country.
Yes Canada has high tax's, but that's why our country is so clean and safe. Living in a super power nation comes with a price, but your also getting a decent ROI on that tax. Keep this things in mind!
