I so love that he was involved, it is defiantly a dream come true for him, getting to make stuff for the franchise he has loved for years, that first show he made was absolutely brilliant, would be cool to see the human faction in it on table top
I will never not get over the one cultist the sergeant picks up, first a pistol at him, and not only does the Ultramarine turn to just give him a look, his fellow cultist also pauses to look at him. "Bro how could you fuck that up."
@@blindman2857 It's one of the few details that no one knows what Space Marine is in W40k universe until they deployed it, average human only heard them as fairy tale/folklore. Much less a grey knight.
I counted. The sergeant had 19 kills. Enough for an entire platoon, of specialist berserkers. Were they charging an Imperial guard fortified position, that would have been serious trouble. But for blade guard veterans. It’s Tuesday.
@@equos5060 I sincerely doubt the Sons of Russ would maintain that level of disciplined, reserved response to an attack, especially with such precise economy of motion.
This scene is phenomenal. However, I’ve noticed that it’s actually the last scene of the episode that really gets people. There’s something truly magical about it.
Honestly the coolest part of this sequence is just seeing the economy of motion they use, and seeing them actually use their superhuman speed to take cultists out in single, lightning fast punches and stuff while saying absolutely nothing. Not treating the cultists like a threat at all - just exterminating them like insignificant bugs.
You know honestly everyone memes on the ultramarines for being boring, but everyone memes on the fists for getting their shit kicked in all the time, to the point where I, someone learning the lore has actually never heard anything good about them XD
Watched this with my girlfriend last night - she pointed out how mechanical they are when fighting. It's all just going through the motions for them, and every movement is made with precision and efficiency, and I love that.
There has *got* to be some way to watch your full reaction. I want to see that almost as bad as I do an Astarties sequel. I honestly can’t say how much I enjoy them. Even if you could send me a video of that reaction privately it’d make my year.
I remember watching this for the first time and thinking, “God, this what the Great Crusade must have been like.” Just Astartes tearing through normal-ass humans on countless worlds who resisted. A small peak at the brutality and mercilessness of the Imperium!
I thought about those first humans on Terra who tried to fight the Thunder Warriors with regular weapons. At least some of those great crusade worlds had Dark Age of Technology stuff. Some of them took years to conquer.
i absolutely adore how they finaly seemed to have gotten it accross what absolute inhumane strength and reflexes/speed Astartes have in their battleplate, i wish they would make a movie just like this, wouldnt even have to be a major story plot of the books or games etc, id watch any movie about Astartes doing battle and maybe a bit garnish around the situation if its made with such quality and accuracy as to how they are so few in number compared to other armies, or why a Squad is often enough to deal with anything below a complete enemy army - or a company of 100 battlebrothers with support to dethrone an enemy leader and their headhonchos - heck, even a whole chapter defending a hivecity or whole planet would be insane in this quality... * *^^* * id buy it instantly, like the "take my moneeeeey" meme * *^^* * love ur reaction! I loved it. Two thumbs up, but you know there's going to be whiners out there going: "Waaah! I don't like the Ultramarines! It should've been my chapter! Waaah! My chapter can fight better! Waaah! I want my binkie!"
Its mind blowing good, the heads getting crushed 1 handed, the sheilds stand out for me. So much cool stuff in such a short video. Cant wait for a movie
Just realised Titus has the laurels of victory on his helmet, meaning this is post space marine 2 and is probably the mission he embarks on alongside Calgar and Leandros at the end of the game.
As far above baseline humans as a (Primaris) Space Marine is, the Custodes are above Space Marines, and the Primarchs are even above them. Can you imagine how terrifying Guilliman is when he gets going. I want a scene like this with him waking up and taking out the Black Legion.
In beginning when matreus says what could soul like that be capable of he said it with doubt because he fear Titus fall in chaos. In the end he said what could soul like that be capable of with proud and you can see in matreus eyes he proud of Titus because he understand after this mission Titus is Incorruptible .
bro the amount of testosterone in this video is unmatched best animation i ever watched in my life just makes you want to become a astartes irl gadaym.
Can we all acknowledge something. So this episode is the final of the space marine 2 game. This mission was set to be a suicide mission. One no one expects to survive. A mission Titus was put on by being hand selected by whom?? Chaplain Leondros. Another atttempt to get rid of titus. 😂
They truly captured the speed and power of a space marine, let alone primaris. These guys are not slow and clunky. Their enemies think big means slow unfortunately
Are there any intentions to upload your full reactions on patreon? I'm curious how the copyright works as there are seemingly tons of different reactions to the secret level episode across youtube, are they singling you out?
Honestly, I'd be fine with a full reaction 'watch along', with no video footage ofc, and then I can just watch the actual video myself at the same time.
You know the saying "like a hot knife through butter"? Well in this case it's white hot knife through butter that's been sitting out for a while. No resistance. Just walking through

The fact that the cultist at 1:08 manages to dodge an axe swing but then subsequently gets sent into the stratosphere by a punch is peak
The axe swing wasn't meant for him, it was for the other cultist, but I definitely got a chuckle out of that

Titus pulling a Reverse Uno card on the cultists’ Tank Shock!

The amount of “You DARE!?!” when he turns to the cultist who tries to shoot him in the face 😂❤
I see Titus counselled the "By the Emperor, we ball" tactical.
I love the magazine flick reload Titus does after killing that tank . Straight out of John wick lol.

And looks like there is a giant claw weapon as well when just before that

Yeah and the squad walk by its broken off hand.

This is, By Far, the greatest space marine animation that I’ve ever seen.
AFTER Astartes of course. Astartes walked so this could run.
@@khuri9030this was better than Astartes imo, but Syama Pederson worked on this too so the distinction doesn’t really matter anyway.

Great scene and great storytelling that was a perfect example of "show, don't tell."
Popping cultist heads like pimples 🔥
I must've watched this 3 or 4 times and it's still good seeing new details
Watching Titus destroy a leman russ punisher was insane.
The last dead chaos cultist (on the tank) is the first we see when the Astartes pod lands...his mask is half torn.

Absolutely 💯 % the greatest depiction of a Space Marine.. the Size the speed the lethality and the power.. Amazing!

The headbutt was amazing, but nothing beats the Captain punching the possessed psycher in Astartes and the marine plugging him 3 times to make sure.
So Titus is basically what would happen of Bruce Wayne became a Space Marine, and Metaurus is basically Jim Gordon was an older space marine.
