I think what I have always wanted from Destiny is a world that feels more alive. Seeing NPCs moving out of the city to the farm was pretty cool and I think seeing settlements start to reappear in areas that we have cleared would make the game feel much more responsive to our actions.

Im glad Bungie now has complete control over Destiny. I'd like to see some kind of a system where you can grind with a better guarantee of getting what you want. I'm getting tired of grinding for gear that is usually useless, so a system where you can craft your own gear with the perks you want (at a higher cost than random gear) would really complete the loot game for me.

I absolutely agree with the rpg stuff, it'd be nice if the class skill trees maybe went back to a more d1 style thing where you could mix and match skills a la carte as opposed to being locked into a fixed menu. And maybe have some of the explorative secret stuff reward more powerful gear, like the Dreaming City secrets drop way lower power than they should for the amount of effort required for stuff like the Corsair Down and Small Gift chains
Just so you know Fruit Honed Edge x 4 does the damage of 5 bullets, x3 does 2.8x specifically to stop it from one shot body shotting, however, there are making changes to snipers to allow fast firing snipers to 2 shot body shot so they might change Izanagi's Burden to reflect this
I agree. I find that I start to lose things to grind for at a certain point. Right now I still enjoy the game, but I feel like I there could be more to do.
I think there should be a D3 so that more radical changes can be made, but make it more of a continuation than D1-D2... Maybe bring forward a lot of the loot from D2 right at the beginning and focus more on the RPG and story side of things. Bosses that have stages caused by maybe knocking off the armor or something, leading to new mechanics would be awesome.
I agree with all your comments about the split :) I personally would just love cross-platform play. As for the Sniper; if you ran a full set of ‘Sniper Scavenger’ gear - it may be worth the exotic slot. I used it in the forge and it OHK just about everything. Hits over 200k to the head with no damage buffs. Plus scavenger perks for crucible make it a bit better.
ehhh i dunno I run into a lot of people who think they are sweats but aren't. Like they'll watch top tier players and start sliding around everywhere haha like no you gotta know when to what is this house of wolves d1. You just gotta use a lot movement and outplay them (baiting usually works really well). If u run into stacks tho i analyse if they're good in like the first 4 mins of the game and if they mesh too good i leave.
Great Not Forgotten gameplay Mr. Fruit. Keep up the great work! Remember in D1 when you could use Weapons of Light and 1 hit bodyshot with a high impact sniper? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
ive always loved the destiny franchise, with D1 being the best and actually having a large fanbase and hooking people on its addictive do more stuff get better loot policy, but D2 had been fun for me for a bit but it sort of lacked the hype and fanbase around it to be a fun game. I would really like it if we could see more different or strange items to possibly get more people interested to go after them.
I feel like there is so much more that could be done to destiny given its current state. Many people (including me) have stopped grinding it because it’s the same stuff every week for two day then you have to wait five days. Because of this, I haven’t bought the expansions in a destiny game in the first time ever because this expansion looked like a dawning sized event. These were my thoughts Mr. Fruit.
17:00 the reason the stack value doesn't make sense is likely because it was artificially changed for balancing purposes. In pve, and for precision values in pvp, the added damage is almost equal to the number of shots consumed. EG: Honed edge X2 is about the same amount of damage as 2 sniper shots. Honed edge X3 is about the same as 3 etc. Bungie must've felt that honed edge X2 and X3 being able to kill to the body would be unbalanced so they adjusted it. They probably planned for X4 to kill to the body so they didn't bother to adjust the damage value to fall in line with the other body shot adjustments because there was no point to.
Do people forget about WoW having content droughts. Small guild and 6 months out there was nothing new to do until the next expansion. I think people have selective memory. Grass is greener. What game out there can put out content at the pace you're asking for? WoW, Diablo, Fortnite, Final Fantasy, Division?
Mr. Fruit, what are your thoughts on a series with Rob and Blue on the grind to the Not Forgotten? Or maybe even just you? I love watching the content but I very much enjoy watching some D2.
I was hoping to see you review the sniper in gambit! The thing goes up to a 5x bonus damage multiplier at 4 stacks, which is huge damage numbers and a net gain for the 4 shots you put in. Also happy for Bungie! This is a good way to start the year for them and I hope fall they amaze us with something huge.
I'll explain the izanagi. At least in pve, 2 bullets do double damage (obviously changed in pvp) while 3 bullets do around 2.8 times so you are wasting dps. But 4 bullets actually give a dmg buff so you actually do 5x dmg.
I have had an on and off relationship with destiny I’ll play for a few weeks or maybe a month and then get burnt out and won’t play for another month even four months. Honestly though Mr. Fruit is so well conducted in the way he speaks on certain subjects and he’s someone the d2 community needs speaking and vouching for them. I’m also really excited for whatever comes of the game you’re in the process of making/brainstorming.
Dude I started playing D2 a couple months ago when it was free and it’s been a freaking blast. Loved the campaigns they got me to buy the expansions! One problem I’ve had is I know no one who plays the game, so Raids are not super fun to me. I’ve never done a raid before. I wish there was some solo-alternative to still get raid loot and maintain the challenge of the raids. I know it’s multiplayer focused, but for some of us it doesn’t fly. Anyways, I have an overall high opinion of D2 and I’m looking forward to the future.
the reason you couldn't use your super is bc super attacks are bound to something called "Light Attack" rather than primary fire. You also have to bind light attack to left click. I know bc this happened to me a month ago and it annoyed me for like a week before I figured it out lol
honed edge in PvE is: x2=x2 multiplier x3=x2.8 x4=x5 therefore it's only really worthwhile to go for x4 in PvE, but in crucible it OHK's supers at x2 (with a crit).
I like the big changes to the status quo of the game world that sequels bring, and I don't think major events like Ghaul taking the City and taking our Light would have been possible with the MMO model.
I think what would be great if they maybe brought back factions as a one week per month thing, and during that week you could fight other guardians from other factions while patrolling and killing a bunch of guardians while fighting over some sort of public event could give points to your faction. Also whichever faction completed more of the public event would get more points for their faction.
I like destiny I played since year 1 d1 and it was awesome but it has always needed more end game stuff also it needs like a reason to do raids more than once. Raids are fun and I want more of them. They are the special part of destiny tha makes it destiny. Also I think it needs to elaborate on the darkness I like the idea of adding d1 raids that would make the game better for Shure. Also they need to give me a reason to play destiny for fun instead of constant grind.
It’d be cool if more of the loot pool were in legendary engrams. It currently feels like normal (non-powerful/prime) legendary engrams are pretty much useless with only a couple armor sets and a few select weapons that can be found from them and no power increase.
From the future, Cross Save and no more exclusives are both a thing. Fruit is a prophet.

Why cant someone demo this in PVE? nobody is showing us that in their reviews. its obvious this is not a PVP gun since you need 4 rounds to do dps.
LOVED seeing you playing this game again. I hope they can make the game we all want and you can start making Destiny vids again.
Welcome back to No Man's Sky
I used it in the forge and it OHK just about everything. Hits over 200k to the head with no damage buffs. Plus scavenger perks for crucible make it a bit better.
My problem with destiny is it is taken WWWWAAAAAAYYYYY too seriously in quickplay atleast on console. All you run into is sweats running the meta
Today I ran into a six stack 4 not forgottens 2 Luna’s Howl all using dust rock with wardcliff
Why are you down here?
Try the PC meta then, Shotguns and Ace of Spades (of which i hate both of them)
ehhh i dunno I run into a lot of people who think they are sweats but aren't.
Most of the shit he wanted are happening:o
ive always loved the destiny franchise, with D1 being the best and actually having a large fanbase and hooking people on its addictive do more stuff get better loot policy, but D2 had been fun for me for a bit but it sort of lacked the hype and fanbase around it to be a fun game. I would really like it if we could see more different or strange items to possibly get more people interested to go after them.
They should add cross play between console and pc
Kof1 __ that would lead to PC players crushing console players in crucible
Cross save good idea cross play terrible idea
Is cross play between ps4 and xbox a thing yet? Because that would be great
13:17 that was a crispy no-scope
Its not the sniper😂 it’s the person using the sniper you missed 90% of your shots
Fan since the first reveal of D1, and I agree, I hope with this split that maybe we can get the sort of game we all wanted at first.
Hey fruit, are you gonna play anthem when it's released? It looks pretty good and I have a feeling like it's gonna be a new possibly better d1
Bryan Reddy there's a lot of people who don't like Anthem at the moment :/
what resolution are you playing at and what are your system specs just curious
honed edge in PvE is:
x2=x2 multiplier
x3=x2.8
x4=x5
therefore it's only really worthwhile to go for x4 in PvE, but in crucible it OHK's supers at x2 (with a crit).
one thing i would like added is a cosmetic armor slot or like a transmog system for armor like from diablo
Fruit is back for the Destiny content! I’m gonna want to see some gameplay of that Jotun next!
Stacking is more for gambit. Also forsake was the thing where it was perfect between casual and full-time
If you reload with honed edge active, it’ll unload all bullets back into your magazine and remove the perk.
Hey fruit may I suggest you play Diablo with blue or Rob? maybe?
If you run two sniper scavenger traits on your armor, you can get 3-5 sniper shots from a single brick
I like the big changes to the status quo of the game world that sequels bring, and I don't think major events like Ghaul taking the City and taking our Light would have been possible with the MMO model.
Everyone was soooo happy when they heard the news, including me. I don't think there was one sad person. Im so glad.
I dropped D2 a month after its release and never looked back since but this just peaked my interest and I'm actually excited for the future
Kinda wished Sood had a Sniper Scavenger perk or two stacked up to give a lot more chances for the 1-body. Meh.
I loved the rambling part. And the part where you blinked off the map with a 4-stack. = )))
Fruit you will be playing Anthem right?
I think what would be great if they maybe brought back factions as a one week per month thing, and during that week you could fight other guardians from other factions while patrolling and killing a bunch of guardians while fighting over some sort of public event could give points to your faction. Also whichever faction completed more of the public event would get more points for their faction.
Stopped playing a few hrs after finishing the first expansion.is it worth getting forsaken and jumping back in
I like destiny I played since year 1 d1 and it was awesome but it has always needed more end game stuff also it needs like a reason to do raids more than once.
