I remember playing this game when I was 8. I used to sneak into my brothers room when he was gone & go at it for hours. I’m 23 now & watching this is just amazing. I come back to these videos every couple of years
My dad had this game on PS3 & man i used to love watching him play but i would never grab the controller myself as i was scared of the game😭 graphics for games back then seemed like the graphics we have on our modern consoles.

I was way too young to play this, so I never really understood what everything meant until now. I loved the characters, gameplay, and plot. It was simple, but sweet.
My favorite quote in all of cod: “Today we are on a secret mission to get coffee and donuts. Problem is, the Germans drank all the coffee and ate all the donuts. So now, we got to go kick their asses.”
The graphics and the conversations are actually good and realistic, not like some games, but for a time like this, this was(and still is)a masterpiece of a game.

This was my first cod game. I was a freshman in HS still playing a bunch of campaign modes. The competitive online cod era began once MW dropped. It was a great time to be a gamer 🎮.
Because today's kids like fancy graphics, with a ridiculous multiplayer where they can rage all day because a skilled, professional, and bored veteran COD player killed them using a weapon that has no recoil and much less a realistic sound, and the lack of an enjoyable, thrilling war atmosphere... Oh, and by veteran COD player, I mean a person that played the original CODs, like 1, United Offensive (probably the most hardcore COD ever, even at the easier difficulty), 2, Big Red One, 3, Finest Hour, and as honorable mention, World at War and Black Ops 1.
It’s crazy that some of our ancestors were fearless enough to willingly face stuff like this. I was at a protest in recent time and the police released tear gas to disperse the crowd. A girl tripped and was surrounded by tear gas while shots of non lethal were buzzing all around me. I helped carry her out and felt almost heroic afterwards. I couldn’t begin to imagine the feeling of rushing towards a hail of gunfire raining all around me.
This was one of the first games I ever played when I was a kid, words cannot express how much nostalgia this brings for me, literally makes me want to cry 😂 love this game
Than you must be real boring. Don’t get me wrong it’s good, but it’s definitely not the only enjoyable one. The unenjoyable ones is those futuristic games.
My god I loved this game! I originally got it on my Xbox then ended up getting it for my 360. I’ve played through the campaign at least 20 times over the years. It’s a masterpiece.
This is what i call a remarkable game, i played the hole campaing when i was 7 and today with 17 years i still remember all the missions, even have beating it just 2 times as a kid, my favorite mission was the 3, so much that sometimes i just put it the disk to replay it, at the point that my disk get scratched and could not read again, the entire jeep sesion was one of those times as i kid that i looked at the screen and just could think "videogames are soooo cool" and dreaming about what the games would be in the future, i mean, how games came from being so remarkable that i literally decorated all the dialogs when i dont even could understand english, and watching this video i literally was speaking the dialogs with the characters, 10 years later, the music, the landscapes, the battles, the dialogs, i remember everything, i just wonder why people dont talk more about it online, this game is so god damn good.
I was 2 yr old when this game was released and not born when cod 1 was released 😂But after playing COD4MW in 2019 i know this series is really awesome😍

One character I truly love in this game is Pvt. Huxley. That line exchange where he's told to "read a poem for inspiration" truly foreshadows his change in character by the very end of the campaign. He then repeats this same exact line showing that he truly is a changed man after the war. Plus his humor doesn't hurt that much either even though it does take quite the blow by the end of the war.

Until my older cousin who was 18 at the time, came over and saw me playing and asked if he could play too and he got me through that whole level. 😂
Call of duty 3 is always going to be my favorite game. Not only was it my first game that I played by myself. It was also the very first game I beat all by myself. I was only 8 (I think) when I played. Now I wish I could replay it. Too bad the disk was destroyed 😔

I remember for my Birthday going down to the only gamestop in town and buying this game. Turning on the xbox and getting lost for hours in this game. One of the best CODs out there.
The first ever cod I ever played. Played it like 3 years after release date but this is where I started.
This was my first ever Cod game. I was 6 years old with a PS2 and when I played, I didn’t know how to bash with the rifle at 4:16 because I never knew that the analog sticks can be pushed in.
It's on the newer consoles it just costs a little more but you decide if you want to relive your childhood
best game of the year and ever
I grew up playing this game a long time I played in myself and I beat it myself I defeated the German Nazis the Americans won the war the greatest game ever played
I bought this game for ps3. It was my 2nd game I ever played . I wish cod would go back to its roots
It did, but they butchered it twice, i mean a black german woman during WW2 ? What were they smoking at activision ?
