I've never played AOS but have read a few of the faction books. I've read some core rules. This was last year
This video makes me want to go back and read more because these battle reports are short, played by very experienced players and the production value is up there with the likes of "play on tabletop". It's all killer and no filler.
Keep it up. 40k will always be my game but thank you for allowing aos to be accessible for people that want that curious scratch itched

Great Report! The Megaboss schould have used Destroyer Turn 1, could have taken Karazai, maybe.
In hindsight 100% - Steve was hoping to avoid Karazai entirely, but it didn't end up being possible with also wanting to maximize the Goregruntas' attacks.
I love seeing my two favorite armies fighting. SCE & Ironjawz are my main armies. Fingers crossed the Ironjawz don’t get worse is AOS 4.0. 🐗🐗. I expect the SCE to be at least decent for the beginning of AOS 4.0. ⚡️⚡️⚡️For Sigmar!
Amazing battle report and really cool how close it still was in the end despite the round 1 madness! But man, such bad luck with the dice for Jordan in so many situation (Prio rolls, monstrous actions, charge rolls). But great to see that he always stays positive
Ionus failing that charge meant Steve kept that objective for the entire game, and would've had 2 more points. :) Great job still making a game out of it though!
Steve never claimed that objective, it was uncontrolled all game.

this could have been a huge swing in the game if remembered. those goregruntas in the begging for sure could have been huge
Did Jordan remember the Stromdrake Guard can try to roll to eat a model after they fight? The last fight near the end with the brutes, didn't see it rolled.
I used it to eat a Goregrunta top of Round 1, but you're right, I forgot at the end. IF the unit leader was within 1" I could have potentially eaten him and forced a battle shock - I'm sad I missed that play! 😔

I don't understand why IJ turn 4 or 5 the Brutes didn't simpy run on the closest objective..
5 Brutes wouldn't flip the objective alone, and they were critical for the Grand Strat. Lots of potential options in those final turns, but Steve chose to double down on winning through the Strat at the end.

rule question here , when you have mutiple unit of monster , i understand that they can only do 1 monster rampage per 1 unit , you cannot do the same monster rampage with the other monster unit?
2 models are in one unit so there is only one unit to do the monstrous rampage. If you had a second unit of 2 models then you would need to pick a different monstrous rampage.
4:50 Jordan, I don't believe your list was one deployment. You show that Krazai the Scarred was not part of Battle Regiment on the list paste itself
Karazai would have slotted into the battle regiment because he becomes Battleline in this list.

the army of renown doesnt get that rule!
you cant take single stormdrakes, they're 1 per hero
