Another wonderful thing you can notice is that cziffra allows the student to develop his/her own style rather than imposing his own or "competition ideal" sound as people call it today. That is a unique trait i've found in few greats only
I really love how cziffra is pressing his own damper pedal when the student is playing!
So you noticed that too 😂
Sort of like stepping on an imaginary brake pedal when sitting in the passenger seat of the car 😃
Mr. Cziffra seems to be a really big guy. That explains the power and strength I've noticed in his recordings. I agree with a previous comment stating that he is very expressive and passionate in his style of playing. Also, it is extremely impressive to see his level of knowledge and mastery of technique and memory with these pieces. It is such a blessing to the world to be a master of your craft. Also after all those years of playing, he has excellent posture - no huntching whatsoever.
He was only 5'6ft (1,70m). But still immense power. I was told his Yamaha CFX in Senlis had a very heavy action, too..
I cannot thank you enough! I love Cziffra ! from Japan.
Yes!! Finally the complete masterclass video! Thank you so much for this rarity!
What an incredible luck for pianists to work and meet with Cziffra!!
And we are so lucky to be able to watch it, thanks to op.106 and UA-cam!
Hi- Can't thank you enough. You can tell how much Cziffra enjoys the music even when He is not the one playing.
Grande Maestro Cziffra

Your way of interpreting the Polonaise like a dance is rare.
@@funklover24 i stop playing like...20 years ago. You can see me now chiling at piano (plastic piano). I have videos in my Chanel. See the videos
Thank you for this wonderfull document! I love this way of romantic pianoplaying. Thank you Mr. Cziffra!!!
wow, the full masterclass, finally. thank you!!!
The first pianist really reminds me of Horowitz! Amazing sound.
Or maybe Biron Janis, pupil of Horowitz. Sadly B.doesn't play anymore.Hey...Daniel......shouldn't that be Bojan???😁
This is really. great
Fantástico!! Obrigada mil vezes!
thank you so much.
Thank you for this video.
treasure !!
Amazing pianists, but clearly can be heard the difference. Apprentices like who have amazing piano playing techniques to amaze, Cziffra like the music itself playing from feelings and does not care about technique. Just let's think it through, these apprentices hell ish good, beautiful playing but still taking classes from Cziffra. Cziffra's level was over the top surely.
I am from New Zealand. He was the number one pianist played on the radio when I was young. After him there was the competition between Askenasy and Barenboim.
Erano vere e sane epoche musicali … ora un circo
Chi è il primo pianista ??? Grazie 🙏🏻
27:30 mephisto waltz

@@ousejamais1vezousejamais1vez You are so amazing ❤
Does anybody know who the pianists are?
At Paris Opera all Stars worked with the great ballerinas , as Cziffra for piano but about classical- Danse so , of course , Classical ballet of Paris Opera is the first in the world .
Merci mille fois !
it's me who had received all these masterclasses from "our mutual friend", and I digitalized them. And ... asked not to publish them ...
Dear Mr Mombeek, here we go again, a continuation of your previous message on another Cziffra post on op 106 I responded to ( Improv on Schubert Moment Musical ) .I have some 10 hrs. or so of masterclasses, maybe more since the mid 1990’s. I digitized them from my VHS tapes many years ago and not from you. Other than sending you many years ago Cziffra recordings you turned around and sold for profit, I have never received anything from you. The tapes originated from several ex Cziffra society members French and British. You are not the only one to have Cziffra material or access to it. I post my music recordings on op 106 for all to enjoy for FREE and have never profited financially a penny, or will with any of my collecting as you have through your several different sites for years. My interest has more to do with generating Cziffra's reputation as one of the greatest pianists, than profiting or claiming supposed self advertised exclusive ownership as you do.
Saluti
C'est pas Bernard flock?
First rated !!
And the last piece is a Polonaise from Franz Liszt!
Thank you I forgot to add when posting, it's correct now.
Mil likess
What a great opportunity
