This is one of the main causes (not the only one, but the most important to look into). However, be aware that Lyme disease tests are not very reliable. Lyme disease specialists first check for symptoms (some symptoms are particularly typical) and do a blood test as well, but only at the best labs for testing for this disease (Igenex in the US).
