Can I just have Yoongi always tell me everything is going to be ok in my ear like that? On repeat please and thank you.

Ruyuichi Sakamoto - big name in music. I was very surprised that Suga managed to get a collab with him

In case you didn't watch the documentary, or someone didn't tell you already: Ryuichi Sakamoto was a legendary composer and musician (and actor, I think?). Yoongi watched the movie "the last emperor" when he was a kid, for which Sakamoto composed the score (and acted in). It was an experience that drove him to pursue music. A lot of his early production work involved taking Sakomoto's music and remixing it, because it didn't have vocals in it so it was good for chopping up and splicing, which yoongi likes to do a lot when he's producing.

That is so helpful! Thank you so much for letting us know. We haven’t watched the doc yet but we want to sometime soon. It’s so cool that Yoongi got to work with one of his mentors like that! What an honor.
      Thx for watching!

Ryuichi Sakamoto and Woosung... after "Snooze" became my fave song in the D-Day album, I looked up both of them. Ryuichi Sakamoto is a legendary composer and actor. He did the soundtrack music scores for "The Last Emperor", for which he won an Oscar. He also did the entire soundtrack music score for "The Little Buddha". And I hadn't realised it, but I had also loved his music growing up, 'cos I had watched both those movies and loved them a lot. I even have CDs of both OSTs and listened to them regularly, but for some reason I had forgotten who created all that music... until "Snooze" came along. Ryuichi Sakamoto also has this other famous piece called "Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence", which was for a movie of the same name, starring David Bowie. He also acted in that movie. He also had a role in "The Last Emperor" besides writing music for the movie. Another thing is, he appeared in Madonna's "Rain" music video. So most of his work in America was done in the 1980s and 1990s, or thereabouts. He also had a lot of his own electronic music, which had inspired younger artists/musicians in that field, but I'm less into that than I was his classical work in OSTs. So that's as much as I know about Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Suga was hit by a car when delivering food. He only hid it from BigHit for a short while, but didn't have surgery until much later.

The way they reenact the crash - omg it gets me hard every time. And for him to have to relive that in his brain so much. Wow. Just wow. The lyrics are so telling. And so are the visuals and the scar and the crawling in the rain. It‘a such a deep and profound song!
