But I just have 1 question, like you mentioned about the issues with Canada, Australia, the UK etc. Ireland too has a few major issues that I believe should have been considered before putting it on Number 2. It has really bad housing crisis, the rents are very high, the major companies that might hire you are Pharma companies and the head-quarters are there primarily for the tax benefits and don't really hire that much. Not german, but SWISS german. A completely different version of German). The tution fees of universities might be lower than those of usa, uk & australia but cost of living is much higher (average salary is high too). You won't survive in switzerland if you can't create network with locals and speak one of their language

If u consider only academics and safety, Switzerland and Scandinavian countries are the best.
Language barrier and cost of living
@@Broccoli-m9h English works almost everywhere in those countries. Moreover, the youths have taken up everything. Above 50 are the ones who might be reticent to speak in english. I agree that the countries are insanely expensive.

Barely 4% of the population speak English. They expect you to speak either (fluently 💀) French or German (no, sorry. Not german, but SWISS german. A completely different version of German). The tution fees of universities might be lower than those of usa, uk & australia but cost of living is much higher (average salary is high too). You won't survive in switzerland if you can't create network with locals and speak one of their language
@@Broccoli-m9h I am planning to go there for PhD soon if I get selected. I guess I will be allocated sufficient funding for food and living expenses. In the other nations, you will be treated like an obedient, pet dog. You will work day in and day out, but will be paid poorly. Language is not a problem within academia. In the bigger cities like Zurich, Geneva, Lausanne etc, I guess every second person can speak workable english.
@@Mathematician-w1c yeah but learning French/German will benefit you a lot especially in job opportunities. Come on... it isn't mandarin chinese. You can reach intermediate lvl in German/French in 1 year or less
