    How to loop a pad within a drum track/note mode/pads/sample edit> shift>loop
    For live jam session. Only worked once. I created mute groups for the pick up, but it has only worked once.
    I have firmware 3.0.5

    This was really enjoyable set! I have been going back and forth between an maschine studio or a force and I finally bit the bullet and spent the money on the force this afternoon and it will be here wed. This is some fire bro, really inspiring!

    Dude love this, I’ve had the force now for a couple of weeks and I’m loving it, I’d love to know what you set the knobs to! Also how did you set up the drum pad for the hihat to automatically trigger 1/16 notes when you hold it down?? I’ve been trying to figure that out for a while lol

      Thank you sir, It's been a while since I've had a troll on here, it's quite refreshing to be judged by something other than the gear I use. But you're totally right, it's a true shame my feeble brain isn't capable of being original. That's why I project the image of intelligence with "smart books" and being hip and fashionable with sunglasses. Do have anything else to add?? The mic is yours...

    al support & the R&D team at Akai to solved these bad bugs & lake of hardware & processor power that every body know, this is really shame on them all to release devices like that, I will sell my Akai Force soon & will never look to any products they will release because you know they are layers, I don’t need to explain more, I am sending my best regards to all the Akai team of starting to there company to the wrong direction. Till they one day close, & also I thank them for not being honest with there customers, you will remember my post here one day soon, after lots of customers go away from there products completely, Well Done AKAI, ho ever need an Akai Keybiard, you know this the result of anybody hk go to play in an area he was never or will never be string in it, Roland Kong Yamaha these companies has experiences of years, don’t forget that brands like Sync,afire witch I still have one & fair light system they closed after Yamaha started releasing the DX7 etc. & Roland released many synth’s too, so if Akai think they will be one day like these other big name !!! Then they are dreaming& they can keep dreaming for ever, you know the Daw & computer will kill all hardwares in the coming t years, nobody is idiot to pay money in the future the world is going to be more POOR , no one will afford all that, thanks for your honest Reviews, I love your channel really. god bless you & stay safe.

    Wow. So rad. You make this thing look so easy to use! I have the MPC Live and I'm learning. How much pre-planning did it take for this song?

    • @nicktrikakis
      @nicktrikakis  5 років тому +10

      Aristotle Kumpis thank you! I usually put in one day building out each 64 pad kit, a lot of multisampled pads and knob mappings so it’s tedious but satisfying. Not so much with the vocals though, that’s just copy chop. Then I practice playing it while also mixing and adding effects. Then eventually an arrangement comes to me and I work though that about 20x, sleep, repeat. As I get better at moving through the arrangement I start adding in fills here and there, try and challenge myself. To be honest the most annoying part is having to reset everything if I mess up 🤷🏻‍♂️.
