Great stuff, I'm sick of tutes that do things and don't say what they're doing, leaving normal map beginners (like me) confused and pissed. This gives me faith. Easy to understand and not scary. Keep it up. Also voice is sexy cool.
i get an error saying it cannot use the subdivision method because they do not have the same base-level topology.i imported two different objects (one high poly the other low poly ).I also tryed using raycast but in the results it just says skipped .Please helpl
Why does Mudbox create such bad quality Normal maps at times? I'm getting huge issues like the ones in your video for a dinosaur i've modelled and sculpted, and it would take forever to fix the small bits using your technique in photoshop, not to mention I would lose quite a bit of detail too. Why is it happening in the first place?
