Use manual transmission, its allows you to change gear almost at 8rpm. When using Automatic the gear change at first red bar not last red bar. I tried this and this works
I got the B-5 by going with manual. You accelerate then turn and give a tap on the brakes and shift all down to 2nd, then immidiately to third when you are ready to accelerate.
Done all these once many years ago. Trying again now for the second time. Currently have 3 left to do. Gotta say 7 is beginning to take the P!$$ 25.754 4 thousandths!! 😂 😂

The way shown in this video is basically the same as the in-game demonstration, so it isn't wrong, but you're also right in saying the manual transmission makes it easier. I just recently started this game again from scratch, and got my B3 gold with 0:28:028 using a scruffy version of the line shown in this video, but Manual Transmission - could probably get it much lower if I got a clean exit from the corner.

Okay, anyone hung up on B-3 this video does NOT show the right way to get it. I tried for two days using his braking point and line and got a 28.157 best. Another video on here shows a different line and using the manual and I got it second try with time to spare. You turn in first, then tap the brakes and downshift to second. Makes all the difference in the world.

quick question: Is it possible to modify the cars during the license tests? I've noticed how pretty much all of them brake and accelerate faster, like I've noticed how the cars reach around 100 mph before barely reaching 3rd gear
Emulator on a PC or raspberry pie which employ all kind of upscalery. in essence, emulators these days can emulate a better graphics chip than what the PSX had.

If u dont know how to use keyboard as master then just buy controler and use it on your pc... I'm using ps4 joystick and its work fine (wireless).

It turns out, especially in the shorter tests, shifting and knowing the ideal rev range of your car is everything.

This is in KM not MPH...seems like the cars accelerate faster.
