Which tip do you think you could implement today to boost your curb appeal? What area would you like to see me makeover next? Like this video? You will like this one too! ua-cam.com/video/Vl0XuOuO3iw/v-deo.html
I love you. Show, just FYI, please watch Dr Ken Barry his advice will make you feel 100% better health wise. I just felt so bad when you weren't feeling well. Only wish well.❤
Have you thought about painting your columns black also? Maybe even all your trim. I think that would look nice and not as expensive as changing the main color. Just a thought.
Great job, just a few suggestions! There are too many colors. The black door is great, I thought it would look Halloween but it's nice. Maybe paint the lions heads and all the trim black. Also please take down the blue wreaths, you don't need them, the door is a statement 🧡🖤
I am adding a comment regarding your choice to dig up that small bush. I am 72. I don't really tell anyone but...some of my plants have frequent flyer miles!!! I would estimate that around 70% of them have lived and actually thrived. Your poor little bush did not look happy where it was anyway. Love your repair work. I have a husband that gets in my way when I do repairs. He goes to our Veterans of Foreign War for a few hours every afternoon. I wait until he goes there and have repaired our dishwasher twice and our icemaker on the fridge once. UA-cam has videos on how to repair everything! I look at it like this, I was gonna call someone to do repairs anyway so if I break it oh well! Keep up your content. I watch it all. ❤
I enjoyed your comment about your husband getting in your way. 😂😂😂😂 When my husband was alive he would be forever sitting on his comfy chair watching the tv. I would go outside and work in the yard or on a improvement project. Eventually he would wander out and ask, what are you doing or why are you doing that?? Then he would proceed to tell me how I should be doing it. Over time, I learned to go in the house as soon as he came out of the house. No more arguing or hurt feelings. I’ve been living alone on five acres for about 13 years now and enjoy being able to do or not to do what I want or when I want and if I need help I hire a handyman and pay him then send him on his way home. What a peaceful joyful life.
As I’m sure I have said before, you are truly amazing! The updates you made to the front of your house look fantastic. And hey - if Laura on “Garden Answer” can use faux plants potted with real soil on her front porch, so can you! I think the topiaries look wonderful. You are such an inspiration, Natalie!
The front doors, the lions heads, flowers beds, earns, topiaries, and garage doors are all spot on. You really elevated the home. It looks so updated. Very beautiful.
I love all of it except for the wreaths, I think simple green wreaths with baby's breath would fit the look better. You're amazing, can't believe all that you do :)
you need to paint the lion head to blend better with the tile, and to eliminate the gap, cut off the wire, then drill a hole to hang it from at a slight angle (then you just need a little piece of 3m tape to hold the bottom : )
For your transplanted bush, pull the mulch back from the trunk, making a trough around the base, at the outside edge of the plant, and give the plant a good feed ❤️❤️
I did my door both inside and out black and it already had black hardware and I love it. It was such an improvement. Also used the magnetic hinges on our 3 garage doors about 2 months ago and one of our neighbors thought we had gotten new doors. Love them. Your entryway looks fabulous
You will not kill it. Just water it the first week or so twice a day. Especially in the morning. Even if you have a sprinkler system. I am loving it looks like you painted the whole house. Love the lion heads and pots. I love it too it looks rich. The black mulch looks fabulous.
Beautiful upgrades! There are companies that specialize in changing the middle of doors so you can easily and cost-effectively change that glass out without replacing the entire door. They took our solid door and did a full glass insert. It is beautiful, LowE, and theft resistant glass. Lets no heat in our West facing front door!
It’s all gorgeous, if I had one critique, it would be to take the blue out of the flower wreath. Great job. And the Lionshead look great. No one would realize that they’re not completely flush. Maybe darken them up a bit💜💜💜
I agree. I just made those wreaths for Mother's Day and had them on hand... Long term, I am thinking something a little more classic like a magnolia leaf wreath.
I admire your fearless "just do it" attitude. If you don't like it, you can change it! I love the black painted door, but not crazy about the 2 wreaths. Now, here's where I would have gotten stuck and worried about these issues and would have given up: the topiaries in the dark corners by the front doors need sunshine and the bush above the sprinkler head might block its spray coverage to the other bushes and cause water to go onto the bricks instead. But you did what you wanted to make the quick transformation! Just do it! Thank you for reminding me that my project doesn't have to be perfect I can just do it, and make changes later! 26:49
Your curb appeal update is absolutely stunning as you have excellent taste and I just can't believe the transformation. Don't worry your little Bush will live he needs some blood meal which is great fertilizer and some water and you're gonna be fine and you did like I said a absolutely stunning job on your home.
The guest was so empathetic withbhis words. I will be praying fur this family. Having a love one battle addiction and mental health is heartbreaking. I know because im living through it also.
Wow! It looks so amazing!! We did the same thing when we moved into our home three years ago, painted the doors black, added black shutters and painted the house a dark gray and window trims white. What a difference it’s made! I’m also pro faux!😀
Oh wow, the door made such a difference!! The magnet carriage door trim is awesome!! Love the cheetah (of course)door mat too! Excellent work NataLee!💕💕🌵💕💕
Natalie, you are amazing you remind me of myself so much I’m 62. I lost my husband 21 years ago and I’ve been doing everything myself from putting down new deck digging up a pond all kinds of stuff painting, fixing drywall anything and anything I’m not afraid of any tools, it’s great to be independent, but you are amazing and I learn a lot of things from you. Keep up the good work girl the plant will survive give it some water. Don’t let her dry out and I agree with one of the viewers. Move the mulch back so that the mulch doesn’t pull away water from the plant and I guarantee you it will be fine. I’m from Canada and I just love watching you. Thank you for sharing your talent ❤😊
The outside makeover looks totally amazing. I love the fact that you put the black hardware on your front door, it makes it all seem so cohesive. The lion heads were another great addition and a perfect fit! So much nicer with the black highlights and the black mulch! You have done a fantastic job again! 🥰
Your front entry looks so regal and beautiful with your changes & upgrades. The black hardware for the door is especially perfect. Who would have thought? You, of course. I might try the garage hardware. When we replaced our garage door 2 years ago, I considered getting that style but was afraid I'd get tired of it. This is a great option.
Oh wow, Natalie! You have a lovely home. I see a LOT of Dryvit stucco on your home. From a family history of construction, I can advise you that that stucco will provide plenty of upkeep and painting for you in the future. It is a must to use a very good paint to avoid any peeling issues that can come with Dryvit. I look forward to watching your progress on the plans you have to make changes to your home. Be blessed!❤
What a difference the black makes !! The doors are amazing in black. My fav tough is the lion heads . Who would think such a simple thing would do so much . Agree. The colors were too much . The black tones everything down , pulls it together !!.
Wow! What a difference! Everything looks beautiful, especially the front doors in black, and switching to black mulch. Enjoy continuing to make your new home your own!
Natalie you always want to make sure you do not disturb the root ball, and keep as much of the soil around that root ball, always digging below it. This will need watered daily, with your heat, until this gets rooted in due to it will be stressed now. Good luck, it all looks nice!!
I absolutely love every thing you did in the front of your house! You are amazing. Let’s face it I love everything you do. Thank you for bringing us along your journey. I / we are blessed to be apart of your life 💛❤️🍯🐝
I'm so happy for you that you had a great appt.❤ The door looks amazing, NataLee!❤ Your lunch heads are beautiful! Your bush will live!!!🤞❤️🙏 Your house looks amazing! The curve appeal is beautiful!❤ As always, NataLee, thank you for sharing all of your hard work, creativity, talent, and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy, and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊
The rust on the windowsill can be cleaned with awesome cleaning spray from dollar tree. Spray it on and let soak for five minutes then use a scrub brush to clean it off. If you paint over it, the stain will just come through the paint.
The bush looks like it is yupon Holly. These are a few varieties of these Japanese Hollie's but I believe yours is the Yupon. You can't kill them. Just keep the soil moist till it grows new roots. The door looks so much better already.
I love love the front doors, the lion heads are seriously kewl !! And as for the bushes, I would replace them with unkillable florida plants , some with color ..variegated plants like liriope, ginger, caladiums, crotons, tall grasses ...different heights, different colors would look beautiful ..you have a very majestic looking home, it's stunning ..
Painting the door made all the difference, it looks beautiful now and it really accentuates the glass panels. I actually thought you would paint the garage doors black as well. I think the problem with the exterior was that there were far too many different colours and shades that didn't really blend well. There are still too many for my tastes, but if you love it that's all that matters. If you keep the water up to the new bush it should do okay, good luck with it.
wonderful makeover! Go ahead and paint the inset piece of where the black door trim touches the orange stucco. It will give the illusion of bigger doors from the road view!
OMG!!!!, If you didn't do ANYTHING else, painting the door black made a HUGE Transformation Impact. Everything is beautiful..but the Front door painted black is by far my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. Thank you for sharing. Blessings
The doors are gorgeous, 100% better! What a difference the added pieces made on the garage doors! Love the Lion head, beautiful! The topiaries are gorgeous, I don’t blame you, go with something that works and looks great! The curb appeal is stunning! Fantastic job!❤️❤️❤️
Girl, you crack me up!! Will she or won't she kill the dug up plant?? I'm voting that you won't!! You're amazing!! The exterior of your home looks beautiful!! Those magnetic carriage thingy's are awesome!! Great video today, NataLee!! Love it!! Take care and God bless you and yours. ❤❤😊
Liked your video and Subscribed. Nice job! Always a fan of black mulch as it makes the dirt look very rich. Didn’t think I’d like the garage door magnets but they really look nice with the black door. Didn’t even consider black handle but again very nice! Love the rugs, the topiaries, and you made it all look so easy. I’d NIX the wreaths as the flowers definitely look silk, too fake and downgrade everything. Given how handy you are you could make your own real magnolia wreaths which would elevate all you’ve already done.
Ot looks so beautiful. I really love the addition of the concrete lion heads. That takes it over the tops. Another great job . Look forward to next DIY .
Love, love, love the updates! You are amazing!! Love the Lion heads for the pillars. Maybe you can clip off the hangers and drill a hole in the back to hang them closer to the wall, removing the gap! If it doesn't work, oh well! You were going to redo them!?! I'm a Leo and I just love the Lion head, but I live at the beach! I will think of something!
Oh wow! You are amazing. What a difference paint, some decor, mulch, etc. makes. You worked so hard, and I’m sure it was very HOT. Im from Mi., so we have cooler weather, which is fine with me. Your mansion is going to be gorgeous. Love seeing each transformation. 😊
I absolutely love everything you did NateLee. I have to say you are one of my favorite UA-camrs. I've been watching you for several years. I love you Chanel you have inspired me soooo much. Thank you
Natalie, love the changes to the door! The landscaping….just remove those three shrubs by the garage. They aren’t centered on anything. Take a pic of the spot. Make a note of its directional facing and go to a local nursery - not a box store and speak with them about what replacement you could manage there based on 1. The site and 2. Your gardening ability and desired maintenance. Also, with the faux topiaries, which are fine remove the potting soil, but save it to use in the refresh of the shrubs. Refill with packing peanuts and just top off with an inexpensive potting soil. The urn/pots ya painted…build a base for them to give them just a bit of a more substantial feel and then level them. Think of stacking interior deco items on books. Just make them the same and place the pots on top. The lions - love them. Can you purchase a mold that would frame them? Same oval shape just to conceal the gap?? I am not too familiar with that product line but I feel like you could place a frame (I would stick with the same finish, so in this case unstained concrete) you could also go with a square or rectangular shape although personally I like the oval best. I would make it very inconspicuous, almost non existent, just to provide the flush mount appearance. Just remember to allow a hole for the hanger on the back. Also, I like pop of color on the wreaths, but would tone down the pop of the faux hydrangeas. Just too bright and a little too faux in my opinion (sorry!) but, they don’t need to be replaced entirely, maybe just a tea stain? I agree a pop is needed just not with a bright blue. Also, what about battery operated lights around the faux topiaries? These can look sloppy - just use care in their placement and concealment of the battery pack. Well done!!
I'm having so much fun watching the transitions, changing, updating your home. Im keeping a list of all the products as well. Im loving it so much. You are rocking it. 😊
Wow Natalee, your front entrance looks so nice! You are such a hard worker - great job! I’m rooting for you on the plant transplant. Hopefully, you did it before it gets too hot and it will adjust 🤞🏻❣️
Beautiful improvements. You definitely improved the front door but the glass screams 1980s. I did love the pic you showed for your dream door and it is fab!!
The bush is going to live. I have a black thumb when it comes to plants. The curb appeal and front porch came out so nice. I love the upgrades you did.
Think the wreaths are beautiful in their own right but maybe not in this colour scheme but think Nat went with what she had already. Still an amazing transformation!
You are remarkable. You accomplished a great deal in that Florida heat. Make sure that bush doesn’t succumb to the heat. Keep it moist but not overwatered until it roots in. The black accents are a wonderful improvement. The rug is great too. I am not sure the faux wreaths add to the look that you are going for. Maybe just green boxwood wreaths with black and white bows. I love watching you tackle projects like this.
I have to agree with you. I think something a little bit more simplistic would be better. I just had made those for a Mother’s Day video and so I used them, but I think I will go with something. A little bit more toned down long-term.
Oooh Nathalee you made me laugh so hard😁💕 You won💪 At it girl, "Where there is a *girl's* will there is the Power!👍👌💪 Box wood are very sturdy, just make sure you throw a table spoon around the base of them every 4 to 6 weeks and wet them thoroughly. This is so they will be teased to want to thrive. With that weather down in Florida they'll be just fine. Once you see it starts to stretch out and get new leaves they are established. That's how I transplant plants out here in So~Cal. You've got this love.

Mow the lawn haha ~ hello NataLee the lock set and door painting Bon
Have you thought about painting your columns black also? Maybe even all your trim. I think that would look nice and not as expensive as changing the main color. Just a thought.
I would love to change my door color, I'm just so stuck on what the color should be

The little bush will survive ! I have faith in you!!

The front doors, the lions heads, flowers beds, earns, topiaries, and garage doors are all spot on. You really elevated the home. It looks so updated. Very beautiful.
I think the bush will live. Love the black front door.
Give it some water and it will be fine.
You always have the most beautiful smile. Congratulations on your new home. Stay as sweet as you are. Sweet blessings my friend ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love all of it except for the wreaths, I think simple green wreaths with baby's breath would fit the look better. You're amazing, can't believe all that you do :)
PS.... the decor on the garages was a genius idea!!!! You think of everything!!❤😊
Thank you!! 😊
The front of your home is amazing. The look is a world of difference. It’s so beautiful.
you need to paint the lion head to blend better with the tile, and to eliminate the gap, cut off the wire, then drill a hole to hang it from at a slight angle (then you just need a little piece of 3m tape to hold the bottom : )
why would she want them to blend in? They are statement pieces.
I was thinking the same. I think even painting the lion heads black could work.
The black doors made all the difference! Definitely looks a lot more cohesive with the black windows ❤
Love the hardware on the garage doors. Who knew you could get magnetic hardware?! Genius !!
It looks great! Consider painting the garage doors black, too.
The plant will live NataLee. Let's send it some positive vibes. ❤❤❤❤❤
Fingers crossed!
Wow what a difference, it looks beautiful x
For your transplanted bush, pull the mulch back from the trunk, making a trough around the base, at the outside edge of the plant, and give the plant a good feed ❤️❤️
Love the accents of black added to your home. You’ve done a beautiful job👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🏡
What a difference to your door, it's stunning.
I think it looks fabulous !!! Also I always use black mulch. It makes everything around it stand out. I love, love, love , the lions heads/faces.
I love the black door and the bush will live
I love the lion heads
I did my door both inside and out black and it already had black hardware and I love it. It was such an improvement. Also used the magnetic hinges on our 3 garage doors about 2 months ago and one of our neighbors thought we had gotten new doors. Love them. Your entryway looks fabulous
Wow, what a difference some paint makes. The black mulch looks beautiful 😍
You will not kill it. Just water it the first week or so twice a day. Especially in the morning. Even if you have a sprinkler system. I am loving it looks like you painted the whole house. Love the lion heads and pots. I love it too it looks rich. The black mulch looks fabulous.
Love these videos! 🎥 It's like hanging out with my sister. I'm so happy you like your house and everything is going well in your life. 😊

Thank you
You're the best! Thank you so much 🥰🙏💕💕
A thousand times better it's so beautiful. I'm so happy for you 💕
Thank you so much for using the animal print rug. I love who you are.
I really appreciate you being yourself.
Great job!!!
Thank you so much!🥰💕
Oh the black really brings out the tile color now, good job
Great job! The 2 wreaths on the door are throwing of the whole posh vibe off. JMO
Find a good seaweed solution for the plant - excellent for root growth. Fabulous make over!
Well done!!
well done. with all the work you have done, love the front door, the lion head. your so clever, the plant will live
I'm having so much fun watching the transitions, changing, updating your home. Im keeping a list of all the products as well. Im loving it so much. You are rocking it. 😊
For the bush transfer u should put take root in the hole. It helps
Wow Natalee, your front entrance looks so nice! You are such a hard worker - great job! I’m rooting for you on the plant transplant. Hopefully, you did it before it gets too hot and it will adjust 🤞🏻❣️
Thank you so much!
Love the garage door faux hinges & the idea of potting faux plants! Great ideas!
What a beautiful front porch transformation! I love it.
Thank you 🙏
@@designedtothenines you're so very welcome, sweet friend.
I love everything but the wreaths…great ideas!
Agree. Maybe lambs ear with olive tree picks?
Wow, i just love it. It really made a difference. Love the lion heads you did, what a easy DIY. 😊🇨🇦
Thanks so much! 😊
Looks FABULOUS, Nattlie. Love the new look. 🤩🤩🤩
Beautiful front door, the lion heads are awesome ❤

And I absolutely love that the lock blends right in with the door, now I want to paint mine to match. Have a blessed day 🙏❤️
