This one is gonna blow up. The original is powerful on its own, but this cover actually blows it out of the water. I nearly choked on tears within the first six seconds - that NEVER happens to me, that's how you KNOW. Another one to loop for eternity and label as a legend.
I 110% agree, it would be an absolute crime if this doesn't blow up

After having the early download on loop for a literal hour while doing carts at work, I can say with confidence this is the best song of the year, and will remain as such unless you end up pulling some SERIOUS wizardry down the line. Phenomenal job, Jonny. Thank you so much for doing this remix.

As a child, when I listen to this song, I hallucinate, I think it generates a sensation of stopped time or something strange

Both Overwater and Underwater were executed PERFECTLY.
Also, I love the the way the underwater theme is, it's feels different, while still feeling the same, nostalgia hits with this remix.
This is the best Buoy Base Galaxy cover I've ever heard in my life. Gosh, it literally blew my mind. The guitar, keyboard, and every instrument in this cover is absolutely.....MIND-BLOWING! It gives me a full blast of nostalgia right in my head. SMG is the first Wii game I've ever accomplished as a kid.

The way he executed this cover is absolutely _perfect,_ he kept mixing it up throughout the entire song and still managed to make every single part of it absolutely incredible.
This legitimately might be the best song GaMetal has made yet. And I know I already made that statement, but I felt like I needed to say it another time because of just how substantial it really is.
Words can't even come close to expressing how incredible this cover truly is, I am not exaggerating when I say this is without a doubt the best version of Buoy Base Galaxy I've ever heard.

The first 3D Mario game I witnessed as a kid, the graphics aged pretty well and the music too. I love all the keyboard sections in this remix and the epic ending, Buoy Base is one of the most memorable tracks from the game.

The release of this remix is perfect timing because I am currently going through the galaxy games right now, and this cover perfectly encapsulates my love for the original as well as the intense nostalgia factor to boot!
Absolutely huge smile on my face within the first few notes. One of the greatest Mario Galaxy themes for sure and you absolutely did it justice, the badass feeling of going on an epic space adventure conquering any and all obstacles is fantastic here, the guitars make me feel like I’m soaring through space feeling invincible. Love how you incorporated the underwater version too, amazing work
Everybody's poggers for Gusty Garden (and I get it, it's good; I like it too), but Buoy Base, as far as I'm concerned, is _the_ seminal Mario Galaxy song. It's got all the grandiosity of Gusty Garden, but with an undertone of intensity and danger that Gusty lacks. It's feels both adventurous _and_ imposing all at once. Easily my favourite of the stage themes.

I've never played Galaxy, but I did play Super Mario 63 as a kid...I remember hearing this song and thinking it was neat. Now that I'm older, I realize just what a breathtaking number it is, and I believe this cover does it justice as well.

A somewhat challenging stage with some crossover references brings more hype as Jonny is on the spot with some metal flavor once more.
SMG was my 1st Super Mario game, this remix is just blasting me with nostalgia. Definitely one of the best GaMetal mixes of this year!

I just recently played this game for the first time in years. My old Wii's laser lenses (the disk reader)
stopped working some time around the pandemic, and after I tried to fix it manually (and ending up making it worse), I just opted to use my grandma's Wii. And this game was everything I remembered. The excruciatingly difficult motion control levels, one of the most original line-up of bosses I've ever seen in a Mario game, one of the best soundtracks I've ever seen in a Mario game, the god forsaken cosmic comet levels, and I haven't even gotten to the purple coin levels. Those were some good times. I nearly had a complete save file on my old console.

Mario galaxy was probably my favorite mario game as a kid, and this was one of my favorite songs. This remix was like reliving that song for the first time again. This channel is like magic dawg.

I was just listening the Buoy Base underwater theme just yesterday because it had came up. Hearing this is a treat for the ears.
You know, Gusty Garden Galaxy rightfully gets a lot of love, as does the Bowser battle themes from Super Mario Galaxy, but this is right up there with being one of the best songs from that game. There's just something about that intro and how it transitions into the main melody that really sends shivers down my spine (in a good way). You really did this theme justice, Jonny, not that I ever doubted that you would.
