One of the thinks I like about Hongki...his pronunciation is always so clear, it's easy to learn the words of the song even if it isn't your first language.
The breakdown and bridge is so EPIC. And also, this is the first time I ever heard someone adlib using REAL voice, normally they use mixed voice or head voice, hongki is so amazing, he can hit notes that are so high just by using his real voice

actually pop-rock music isn't doing really well in Korea. but I praise FT Island a lot since beginning till now they still doing music they like to make. Instead make music ppl want they keep make music they want. I praise them a lot. And Hongki's voice is still be my TOP 3 along with Yesung and Sunggyu.
This band is practically the BACKBONE of FNC back when it is just starting. However, just because they only want to sing songs they made themselves, they were disregarded. I don't know why do they need to follow others when they are very unique on their own. Only if they were given more support, i know this band could have soared so high up. Not only because of the amazing vocals of Hong Ki but also because each member is so talented. p.s: I will forever be a fan of this band!
I'm really dissapointed that many people does not recognize them anymore. They seem to have been gotten less popular by the years. BUT! It doesn't matter because as long as they are still performing, I will always be with them along with the other hardcore ftisland's fans. It's true that they are famous but not at the pace where I can ask any kpop/korea music's fans about if you know Ftisland. I did not like the songs from the series and I forgot about it… I'm 45 years old . I have been a rock fanatic since the age of 12. I thought Rock was already DEAD. The new rock bands do not satisfy me, but FTISLAND with their high quality and diverse rock has appeared in my life 8 months ago and I fell in love forever, even though I do not know a language . I'm so sorry I just found them now. But I'm so HAPPY!!!
Lee Hongki had a role in a jukebox musical called The Days last year and Dracula back in 2014(?). His performance of the song Even Though I Love You was very moving.
This made me tear up, really. Their career as a band finally reached a decade and I'm glad to see them and their music grow for many years. Even though there are already many good bands that are popping out in Korea right now, FTISLAND will always be my first love and my most favorite boy band group 😭💕

The only other song I'd hear from them was "I Hope." That was seven years ago. For some reason, it made me instantly love the group but never look further into them. This is my second FT song and I'm completely in love. Absolutely breathtaking how it's both melancholic and passionate. It's truly heartfelt. Of course, so many songs and singers are. But this one came from the soul and moved something that even words cannot describe.

For me FT island is like a friend, because they stay humble and relateable through the years (and they are my age). Seeing them still passionate in what they do makes me feel proud and hopeful.
I remember when I discover them by accident on 2009 (2years after their debut), now I'm still here and I never quitted the fandom. these guys are incredible and extremely talented. 10years ago they were asking for doing their own music but can't, now, after 10 years, they're doing an album with their own songs to celebrate 10 years of hardwork.
Damn the song is so beautiful. I still remember the day i started liking ft island. I never loved a group as much as i loved ft island. Seriously, they're one of the best bands out there. They deserve more recognition.
TBH I only looked at this mv because I was voting in the MAMAs for BTS and didn't want to just randomly vote in the band section. But this shook me, the other bands who are currently leading honestly made me feel like maybe Korean bands are just not that unusual. FTISILAND completely changed my view, the execution was great, I don't know how bands usually organize instrumentals and vocals, but I feel like they did it perfectly. The vocal really did stand out, but the guitar and other instrumentals had their time to shine too. I don't understand why they are so low in the rankings.
ARMY SERENDIPITY primadonnas may not be a huge fandom in Korea, but international pris love them. It’s just as a 10years old band, more pris are adults and maybe not so into voting or else. But we ALWAYS support n appreciate their amazing music. Pls support them too🙏🏻 These boys are very talented, composed their own music, and all of the members can sing well too. Check out their other songs like “Pray”(2015), “Take Me Now”(2016) or “Shadows” (2017-Japan).
The reason is that they don't want to conform to a mold, since the beginning they were rebels as young kids just because they wanted to do their own music, date and do what they wanted, they hated the fan services and the flower boy image and their agency simply got another set of boys and send them away to Japan, they lost their fandom and their momentum, the good thing bands survive because they can do music, now a days we have bands that are 50 years old, they just have to get a new agency...
because their music is not pop-ish....and they are not into idol thing....plus their fans are a bit old to join those type of voting polls..."like me"...tho im 30 my gf is 29 and my brother 30+...(still young pls)

Its been so many years since i have heard such an emotional filled song.. Its the best song for drama osts lol. Out of all the genres that i listened to, rock genre will always leave a special place in my heart. Its like the medicine to remove all the pain in me whenever im depressed. FTIsland knows how to make good music. I mean, I'm still shaken because of 'Pray', that's how good their songs are. Whenever I see that they are making a comeback it's a no brainer for me that their album is going to be good. Honestly, they are fantastic and deserve far more recognition than they get. This song is beautiful and I didn't expect anything else from them.
Been together with FTI since 2009, spent most of my mid & late teens with them, and now I'm in my adulthood. It's amazing to have witnessed their journey, their growth, how far they've come in the past 10 years. 10 years seem so unbelievable since they were still a bunch of teenagers when I first knew them, and it feels like it was just yesterday. I"m always impressed by their performances. Lee Hong Ki has always nailed it in every live performances. I'm not really into rock but I've always love all their songs. I once read in an article that they are more popular in Japan than in their own country. I hope they grow more and achieve more awards and recognitions in Korea 'coz they definitely deserve it. Ok so I'm a recent k-pop stan (starting with BTS, EXO, GOT7, Stray Kids, etc.) and as much as I love them, I grew up with rock and rock with always be one of my favourite music genres. Then I discovered Day6 and The Rose and immediately fell in love with this genre of k-rock. Its so refreshing hearing actual instruments and the rasp and passion of rock vocals. Someone somewhere in the comment section of a video mentioned FT ISLAND and, seeing as its an older group and I'm more into newer groups, I wasn't sure if I'd like their stuff. But seeing their videos has blown me away. I'm completely in love with this group. I've never seen more passion and talent in my life than in this one song. Happy to become a Primadonna.

I was at the live Showcase earlier. You need to hear this live to do it justice. The V-App broadcast sound is distorted. Live in person is the real deal. Amazing. Sent chills down my back.
Music shows too don't do bands like FTIsland and CNBlue justice. Their concerts feel so much more powerful and they look like they enjoy it more. The FNC Kingdom concert last year is a great example of their abilities

I just meant that the broadcast of it was not what the actual live was like. Yeah, the music shows are a joke when it comes to showing the talent of bands.

They were really popular before, especially when they debut Love Sick and made Severely T-T I hope was the BEST! I missed those times, but Primadonnas are still one of the best Korean fandoms :) In fact it's my best fandom
i'm feeling all sorts of emotions :-( they deserve so much recognition for their beautiful music. hongki's voice is easily one of the most beautiful voices ever. that husk in his voice still gives me the chills, from day 1 that i stanned them back in 2008 and up to this day.
If you aren't into hard rock songs like Pray and Take Me Now, I recommend their extensive discography of ballads. Watch their FNC Kingdom live of Beautiful and their Replay Encore of I Hope, those performances are magical. Not to mention their MTV Unplugged Session and Space Shower TV Plus Special. With a band like FTISLAND, the studio version could never hold a candle to their Live performance.
I just recently found out about ftisland and that's because of a kdrama called 'you're beautiful' where Hongki participated in and I immediately fell for his charms, looks and unique voice! So I searched him up and found out about FTisland! And wow... I feel sad and guilty that I didn't find out about them earlier😭 Their music is so deep and emotional, which fits perfectly with Hongki's soulful and passionate voice..! Although they already debuted 10 years ago, and even tho I'm a little late, I want to support them and listen to their music from now on!!

Their song is so good that I can write an essay on how good it is.. Its a simple slow song that have no rap lines. Sounds boring but it is not. Chorus repeated total of 4times, but it doesn't sound repetitive. From first chorus,starting with piano acoustic background, to second chorus guitar background,then transition into a well-done bridge+3rd chorus, lastly an explosive 4th chorus. The transition of versuses are incredibly done. A slow song with so much composure. Only Lee Hong Ki can do it. His voice is so powerful and emotional. The bridge with guitar solo is pretty amazing too. Listened to it for 8 times in a row and never got tired of it. It is the best song I've ever heard in 2017 as of now.
I'm here because of Unexpected Heroes, A Korean Odyssey and My Only Love Song! I knew F.T Island but I haven't listen to their songs. I know Hongki is from F.T Island since I watched him in A Korean Odyssey. Then, today I was so bored so I decided to watch Unexpected Heroes since it's just a web drama then I get curious about the other lead guy there since I'm only familiar with BTOB minhyuk and IOI sohye then I was shocked to find out that he is the leader of F.T. Island! wow! So I decided to watch this MV and it was so good!! Then after watching, I search them again on Wikipedia only to find out that my SamYong in My Only Love Song (one of my favorite drama I watched before. I really love his character there) is also a part of F.T Island and his name is Jae jin. Wow! I don't know why i didn't search about him before when I'm watching My Only Love Song. But I'm so glad to know that they are all in one group! I think, I'm going to watch all their videos now! BTW. I'm an ARMY so I'm looking forward on meeting new people on this fandom!

the 10 yrs I've spent with these five incredible boys are the best things I've done with my whole life.Looking back from their debut days till today, they have come so far and and yet they stayed humble though they are one of the longest group in the industry. This band is practically the BACKBONE of FNC back when it is just starting. However, just because they only want to sing songs they made themselves, they were disregarded. I don't know why do they need to follow others when they are very unique on their own. Only if they were given more support, i know this band could have soared so high up. Not only because of the amazing vocals of Hong Ki but also because each member is so talented.

I'm really dissapointed that many people does not recognize them anymore. They seem to have been gotten less popular by the years. BUT! It doesn't matter because as long as they are still performing, I will always be with them along with the other hardcore ftisland's fans. It's true that they are famous but not at the pace where I can ask any kpop/korea music's fans about if you know Ftisland. Their musics is flawless and I would like to call them as an artist besides idols. Their talent is just so powerful and pure. Lee Hongki had a role in a jukebox musical called The Days last year and Dracula back in 2014(?). His performance of the song Even Though I Love You was very moving.
This made me tear up, really. Their career as a band finally reached a decade and I'm glad to see them and their music grow for many years. Even though there are already many good bands that are popping out in Korea right now, FTISLAND will always be my first love and my most favorite boy band group 😭💕

The only other song I'd hear from them was "I Hope." That was seven years ago. For some reason, it made me instantly love the group but never look further into them. This is my second FT song and I'm completely in love. Absolutely breathtaking how it's both melancholic and passionate. It's truly heartfelt. Of course, so many songs and singers are. But this one came from the soul and moved something that even words cannot describe.

For me FT island is like a friend, because they stay humble and relateable through the years (and they are my age). Seeing them still passionate in what they do makes me feel proud and hopeful.
I remember when I discover them by accident on 2009 (2years after their debut), now I'm still here and I never quitted the fandom. these guys are incredible and extremely talented. 10years ago they were asking for doing their own music but can't, now, after 10 years, they're doing an album with their own songs to celebrate 10 years of hardwork.

Damn the song is so beautiful. I still remember the day i started liking ft island. I never loved a group as much as i loved ft island. Seriously, they're one of the best bands out there. They deserve more recognition.
TBH I only looked at this mv because I was voting in the MAMAs for BTS and didn't want to just randomly vote in the band section. But this shook me, the other bands who are currently leading honestly made me feel like maybe Korean bands are just not that unusual. FTISILAND completely changed my view, the execution was great, I don't know how bands usually organize instrumentals and vocals, but I feel like they did it perfectly. The vocal really did stand out, but the guitar and other instrumentals had their time to shine too. I don't understand why they are so low in the rankings.

The reason is that they don't want to conform to a mold, since the beginning they were rebels as young kids just because they wanted to do their own music, date and do what they wanted, they hated the fan services and the flower boy image and their agency simply got another set of boys and send them away to Japan, they lost their fandom and their momentum, the good thing bands survive because they can do music, now a days we have bands that are 50 years old, they just have to get a new agency...

FTIsland knows how to make good music. I mean, I'm still shaken because of 'Pray', that's how good their songs are. Whenever I see that they are making a comeback it's a no brainer for me that their album is going to be good. Honestly, they are fantastic and deserve far more recognition than they get. This song is beautiful and I didn't expect anything else from them.

Been together with FTI since 2009, spent most of my mid & late teens with them, and now I'm in my adulthood. It's amazing to have witnessed their journey, their growth, how far they've come in the past 10 years. 10 years seem so unbelievable since they were still a bunch of teenagers when I first knew them, and it feels like it was just yesterday. I once read in an article that they are more popular in Japan than in their own country. I hope they grow more and achieve more awards and recognitions in Korea 'coz they definitely deserve it. Ok so I'm a recent k-pop stan (starting with BTS, EXO, GOT7, Stray Kids, etc.) and as much as I love them, I grew up with rock and rock with always be one of my favourite music genres. Then I discovered Day6 and The Rose and immediately fell in love with this genre of k-rock. Its so refreshing hearing actual instruments and the rasp and passion of rock vocals. Someone somewhere in the comment section of a video mentioned FT ISLAND and, seeing as its an older group and I'm more into newer groups, I wasn't sure if I'd like their stuff. But seeing their videos has blown me away. I'm completely in love with this group. I've never seen more passion and talent in my life than in this one song. Happy to become a Primadonna.

Music shows too don't do bands like FTIsland and CNBlue justice. Their concerts feel so much more powerful and they look like they enjoy it more. The FNC Kingdom concert last year is a great example of their abilities

I just meant that the broadcast of it was not what the actual live was like. Yeah, the music shows are a joke when it comes to showing the talent of bands.

원래 ft아일랜드 알고 있었는데 wind 듣고 시험기간에 이홍기오빠한테 입덕한 여고생인데요ㅜㅜ 이제 막 제대로 ft아일랜드에 빠지게 됬는데 완전체가 아니게 되니 안타깝고 너무 슬퍼요ㅜㅜ..... 악기부터 보컬까지 정말 취향저격이고 보컬목소리도 감정 짙고 진실하게 불러서 들을때마다 마음이 흐물흐물해지듯이 감동적이고 또 신나면서 저절로 들썩거리게 되는 노래들이 정말 매력적이고 마음에 들었는데... 이제 오리지날로 접하지 못하는게, 늦게 입덕한 만큼 너무나 아쉽고, 팬싸랑 콘서트 가보고 싶었는데 만약 하게 된다면 한국이든 외국이든 꼭 보러 갈게요ㅜㅜ!! 완전체는 아니더라도 사랑할게요! i'm feeling all sorts of emotions :-( they deserve so much recognition for their beautiful music. hongki's voice is easily one of the most beautiful voices ever. that husk in his voice still gives me the chills, from day 1 that i stanned them back in 2008 and up to this day.

If you aren't into hard rock songs like Pray and Take Me Now, I recommend their extensive discography of ballads. Watch their FNC Kingdom live of Beautiful and their Replay Encore of I Hope, those performances are magical. Not to mention their MTV Unplugged Session and Space Shower TV Plus Special. With a band like FTISLAND, the studio version could never hold a candle to their Live performance.

I just recently found out about ftisland and that's because of a kdrama called 'you're beautiful' where Hongki participated in and I immediately fell for his charms, looks and unique voice! So I searched him up and found out about FTisland! And wow... I feel sad and guilty that I didn't find out about them earlier😭 Their music is so deep and emotional, which fits perfectly with Hongki's soulful and passionate voice..!
Although they already debuted 10 years ago, and even tho I'm a little late, I want to support them and listen to their music from now on!!

i listened to many new songs today, but this is the only one which made me stay to listen the whole song.
This song is a masterpiece, i'm another boygroup fan but even if my bias comeback at the same time with this, i would vote for this song. I listened to this song the first time today and i really got goosebump. It has been on repeat for me for the fast few hours. Hongki's voice is amazing, the instrumental, everything... I'm so sad the song is so underrated :( it should have won like at least 5 wins :(

Their song is so good that I can write an essay on how good it is..
Its a simple slow song that have no rap lines. Sounds boring but it is not. Chorus repeated total of 4times, but it doesn't sound repetitive.
From first chorus,starting with piano acoustic background, to second chorus guitar background,then transition into a well-done bridge+3rd chorus, lastly an explosive 4th chorus. The transition of versuses are incredibly done.
A slow song with so much composure. Only Lee Hong Ki can do it. His voice is so powerful and emotional. The bridge with guitar solo is pretty amazing too.
Listened to it for 8 times in a row and never got tired of it. It is the best song I've ever heard in 2017 as of now.

I'm here because of Unexpected Heroes, A Korean Odyssey and My Only Love Song! I knew F.T Island but I haven't listen to their songs. I know Hongki is from F.T Island since I watched him in A Korean Odyssey. Then, today I was so bored so I decided to watch Unexpected Heroes since it's just a web drama then I get curious about the other lead guy there since I'm only familiar with BTOB minhyuk and IOI sohye then I was shocked to find out that he is the leader of F.T. Island! wow! So I decided to watch this MV and it was so good!! Then after watching, I search them again on Wikipedia only to find out that my SamYong in My Only Love Song (one of my favorite drama I watched before. I really love his character there) is also a part of F.T Island and his name is Jae jin. Wow! I don't know why i didn't search about him before when I'm watching My Only Love Song. But I'm so glad to know that they are all in one group! I think, I'm going to watch all their videos now! BTW. I'm an ARMY so I'm looking forward on meeting new people on this fandom!
