Sono felice di presentarvi una nuova serie relativa al groove in contesti Funk, RnB, Hip Hop, Gospel e Neo Soul🎵 🎸
In questo primo episodio sono stato ispirato da uno dei miei chitarristi di riferimento nel “groovy business”, Mr. Mark Lettieri, e dal suo pezzo “Barreleye” del disco “Deep: The Baritone Sessions”.
Sono cresciuto con James Brown, Michael Jackson e Prince, ed il loro ascolto ha fatto si che iniziassi a considerare il groove un aspetto che dovrebbe essere fondamentale per ogni musicista.
Lettieri ha il grande merito di aver evoluto la chitarra ritmica ed i suoi pezzi sono pieni di belle melodie. E' anche la "causa" del mio acquisto di una Danelectro Guitars baritona, di cui tra l'altro sono stracontento!

Hey guys! I’m launching this new series related to groove in funk, rnb, hiphop, gospel and neosoul music 🎵 🎸
This first episode is deeply inspired by one of my fav players in the “groovy business”, Mr. @mjlettieri , and his tune “Barreleye” from “Deep: The Baritone Sessions”. I’ve been growing with James Brown, Michael Jackson and Prince and they are the reason why I started considering rhythm as a fundamental element for a musician. Then came the moment when I discovered Mark and he became fast a big inspiration. He has been taking rhythm guitar to a new level and his tunes are full of great melodies. Also he is the reason why I decided to buy a Baritone. This is in someway a tribute to such a great artist! Go check him!
