"Roots" è un brano che raccoglie e mescola le mie radici con le esperienze vissute nel corso degli ultimi anni.
Racconta della mia terra e dei nuovi posti in cui mi sono trovato, della gente con cui sono cresciuto e di quella che mi ha fatto maturare. Alterna colori scuri ad altri più chiari, ritmi dilatati a groove più stretti, cercando di non perdere mai il lirismo, sia nelle melodie che nelle improvvisazioni.
Per i più nerd ho inserito nel video anche lo score con le parti di tutti gli strumenti.
Ho suonato il brano da capo a fondo, senza fare overdubbing, tenendo dentro ogni "errore" o "imperfezione" in favore della spontaneità e dell'autenticità, sperando che, nonostante sia una registrazione, possano arrivare.

"Roots" is an original composition that gathers and mixes my background with the experiences I have had over the past few years.
It tells of my land and the new places where I found myself, of the people I grew up with and the others that i've met later.
It alternates dark colors with lighter ones, dilated rhythms with more groovy sections, trying never to lose the lyricism, both in melodies and improvisations.
I also included the score with the parts of all the instruments in the video.
I played it from beginning to end, without overdubbing, keeping every "mistake" or "imperfection" in favor of spontaneity and authenticity.
