Yes it was a dream machine, almost perfect balance of power/handling/reliability. Very well thought out with it design.

Very, very nice. Bike runs awesome, and you ride a very nice line there, man. what laptimes & topspeeds did you manage? this looks like a LOT of fun. I was looking for videos of ktm sx450f conversions on the track, when I found this. your bike is a whole different story, man. very professional bike. hope to see ya in oschersleben for real sometime ;-) stay safe, greetings from germany

That is one really cute, beautifully engineered gem of motorcycle.Tried to google the specs will try again, how much and where in UK.Tough about the collision Mike!

Hi Tim, it was a 'one off' bike designed and built to show to the GP bosses as a sample, before the Moto3 class was announced. Then when the owner had a meeting with the organisers, he was told that the bike would be too 'affordable' for Moto 3, they wanted to keep the classes expensive and elite. Crazy, crazy, crazy...

II saw you ride The Brough, what did you feel about that machine which I saw on Jay Leno.It has not shown on Moto 2 to the best of my knowledge which is a great shame. What are the horse power and torque figures for the mono? You are right, crazy crazy crazy!Damn elitism...not expensive enough. Many thanks for the close ups of the machine...A jewel.Used to play with Ducati singles years ago including a 24 horas from Mototrans which I really liked,No issues with the cam on mine. Now very sought after.Thank you mike.

The Brough was an interesting machine but flawed mainly due to the chassis designer, suspension designer and the suspension manufacturer all have different opinions on what works and what doesn't. The bike suffered terrible front end chatter when pushed, I suggested a few possible solutions but they fell on deaf ears, as they were all arguing their own point and going nowhere fast. The Rotax Minimono is the sweetest little bike I've ever ridden, unfortunately as you saw I crashed on oil. At the time the project was in its early days of development and the engine was running in a safe state of tune at around 60 - 62 BHP but by now should be around 68 -70 bhp. I haven't seen it for some years as the class in Europe is struggling to keep going. Thanks.
