It was always my dream to become an airline pilot that’s why I already planned to have my training while I’m still in my 4th year college. But as I was having my medical at CAAP to apply for my SPL (student pilot license), I failed the eye test because I didn’t pass the ishihara test. In simple words, I am color blind. They told me that I can still proceed with my training but I can only train up to PPL (private pilot license) but they told me that there is a cure/therapy for color blind. Right now I’m on my 3rd week of therapy and I hope that this therapy will cure my color blindness and I look forward to work with you captain 👨✈️
What kind of therapy? Afaik there is no treatment for colorbkind just use a special glass. I myself is a colorblind thats why im a fristrated pilot. I just fly RC planes . Other countries use farnsworth test now
Hanggang nagyun nangangarap parin akong maging piloto, binabalikbalikan ko lang tong mga videos mo captain para mainspire and para patuloy na lumaban lang para sa pangarap na ito, currently may work ako ngayun kakasimula lang this year first job ko din, and sana mana makatung tong din sa mundo ng aviatikn and maging piloto katulad niyo captain.

Minimum requirement is 1500 hrs. Plus company recommendation.

capt when communicating via ATC is it sometimes hard to understand especially when controllers are talking fast or is it just me or will you get used to it eventually when you do it almost everyday? I find it sometimes hard to understand right away especially foreign controllers with their accents.. do you experience this sometimes especially when flying internationally? thanks capt safe skies always 👌🏻

You can join the airlines without a college degree even before covid here in the US, but if you're aiming for the Legacy Airlines (AA, Delta, and United), you need a college degree :D

Hi, I’m from the ATR fleet ng ceb, wala ako airbus rating nung nagapply, but i have 2500 flying time from being an instructor.. mas matimbang kasi flying hours kaysa type rating ng Airbus. so no need mas makakatipid ka sir pag di mo kinuha

@@rhodonvil7630 pwede but make sure po may at least 25 hours ka ng multi engine. makukuha mo siya sa fishing cargo like sabi ni capt JC. So either 25 hrs multi engine with CPL/IR, or 2000 hrs single engine CPL/IR
