Well it’s the stock airbox with uprated filter for the break-in process of the engine and to keep it road legal. But there is already an optimised airbox there for the final design. BTW I don’t think that the stock airbox is too restrictive with the right filter and cold air feed 💨
What's the biggest cubic capacity you can make out from TU5 engine? I know some how it is possible to get 1.9, but not sure, is it possible to get it on 2.0?
The highest reliable displacement is 1790ccm with a bore of 80,0mm and a stroke of 89mm. That already needs machining of the cylinder block here and there to gain enough space ✌🏻

I know the EC5 engine that is basically the latest TU5 engine, but here in Europe it’s very hard to get.

Yes the stock TU5JP4 is really not the best in terms of response and sound.

What Gear Box did you use with this engine? I have same engine with AL4 box and i want to convert to manual.
We will stay with the MA gearbox for now, but want to upgrade to BE gearbox in the future for better reliability 💪🏻

It always depends on the rest of the setup (cams, machining of the head, bolt on mods etc.) ✌🏻

Soon I will assemble a 1.8 with gsi 79mm corsa piston and uc5 connecting rod ... Importing the euro to 7 reais is not feasible
