@@CobraKyle Indeed, the 2nd cam is a great addition. I use one one my road bike rides: a Session 4 at the back and a Session 5 on my helmet. At least if I ever get run over, I'll have footage! :)
This trail will be one that I'll be skipping. After riding the 26 miles at Goodwater trail in Georgetown, TX I swore I'd never ride a trail like that again. Slowly riding over ruff rocks that want to buck you off is not my idea of a fun day. Thanks for taking one for the team!
Very cool! I've only gotten to ride North Shore up in that area and it's a lot of fun. I hope to check out more in and around Dallas. Thanks for checking out the video!
@@CobraKyle i would say so. I always hear about it being technical, but little else. But seeing it, i can judge better as to whether i want to make the drive out there.
I live five minutes away from the lower trailhead and ride it two or three times a week. All the commenters who are s**t talking it, I say good - stay away and leave it for locals.
Nice vid, Kyle! Thanks!
Quality and narration is excellent, keep up the great work and sharing your adventures. :)
Thank you Michael! I think the 2nd camera spiced things up a bit too!

Lol! The Goodwater trail is on my to do list just so I can say I've done an IMBA Epic. I'm happy to be a team player!
chunky & leafy! :) thanks for posting.
Sure was! Thanks for watching.
2:30 lol!
He left me hanging haha
Great riding man!! Extra chunky terrain 🤓
Thanks Jose! I haven't been back since then, but am curious to try it out again and see if anything has changed. It is very chunky!
You really like beating yourself up! One way to test out that suspension though..
I almost took the hardtail for this ride. Good thing I didn't!
Looks a lot like Isle du Bois up our way, but with less flow. Nice vid, man.

@@CobraKyle Sweet! If you make it up to our area, you should check out my website at NTXTrails.com to help you plan your rides.
Glad you drove all the way out there to see the XC trails, so I don't need to now.
LOL! Preventing people from riding cross country since 2017!
Great video! I lmao at you talking to yourself 😅
Thank you! I wanted to try editing that together. If one person enjoyed it, then it was worth the time!
@@CobraKyle you are greatly appreciated sir. Thank you
Looks like a tough ride Kyle, some people enjoy the punishment of purgatory!
It was pretty great!
Monitoring the San Marcos Facebook page....
Haha! Good looking out Matt.
Nature's weener ?
Lol! The wind must have blown those rocks into that formation.
Awesome ...my son saw the video now he want to know if ours Walmart cheap bikes can handle Lol ....let see 😁
haha only one way to find out! Have a good time.
I live down the road from purgatory and try to go a couple times a week
Nice! You must be good at the technical riding!
You seriously think you'd ascend all the way up to Purgatory? Great video kid, cheers!
Lol not a chance in hell! Thanks Matt
Cool, dont think ive ever seen gopro footage of this trail.
Yeah I found very little footage of this place. Hopefully I've showcased this place enough for other riders.

It was a fun spot. Very different from anything we have here in San Antonio.
Do you still ride locally, just moved here and looking to ride normally with some folks?
I went yesterday but stuck to the green trail since I’m a noob lol
Nothing wrong with that! Keep at it!
Rough! Rock and Roll... I mean... Rock and rock.
Rocks on rocks on rocks! Thanks for watching Dirt! I dig your guys' products!
This is not a fun or cool trail to bike, I go here only b/c I can get there in under 15 mins. It is probably more enjoyable to hike it.
That doesn't look like fun...
At first glance no, but challenging your own skills is always fun. I had a good time there. Thanks for watching!
What a waste of time! To each his own, though. LOL!
I'm riding bad trails so you don't have to lol
looks horrible
