Hi Dipen, nice video, can you pls do some research to see if there any option for any custom gear shift paddle which has ankle support to change gear instead of putting the shoe under the paddle. e.g splender gear
Bro, sometimes when my 2018 Dominar is on an uneven surface and I try to engage gear I hear a "tarrrr" sound. I never try to force a shift, instead I would move the bike back and forth and then it shifts normally. Today it happened twice, once in the early morning during 1st start and 2nd time in the evening after filling her tummy at the fuel station which also had broken uneven floor. What could be the reason? Does the clutch need adjustment or gear lever got loose?
@@dipen.nisar.autovlogs Hi, the reason why I mentioned about surface situation bcoz I don't remember if it ever happened on flat surface. But since you've owned multiple iteration of Dominar I believe you, will check the clutch adjustment.
@@dipen.nisar.autovlogs One more thing bro, according to you what is the perfect spot of clutch engagement? Actually a month back I felt the clutch to be loose so I got it tight from a local shop and shifts became smooth. A week later I took my bike to SC for some work, the mechanic told me that Clutch is too tight so he loosen it. To give you a clear picture, after SC adjustment the clutch engages as soon as I leave the clutch and when the local shop guy did it the clutch engages almost near end point.
Nope. Sound will never go unless some new tech comes in place. Higher cc bikes these sounds do come. Even a Ducati gets the noise on first gear. If yours is too much get the clutch plates and oil level etc checked. Compare your bike to others. . Hope this helps. Do stay subscribed.
Did ypu guys noticedthe exhaust pipe... Its so rusty... All the dominar exhaust pipe is rusty.... Any know to restore it or how to prevent it from rusting...??
Get a brand New one. (All bolts) if the unit too has lost its threads, then get a brand new complete unit. And when putting the bolts, use loctite this time.
@സർബത്ത് ഷെമീർ yes, I am aware what is allen Key. But I wanted to know from "THE SRS", when he said, "Bro it's Allen key" - not sure what context he was referring too.
I needed this. Thanks man! I use dominar 400 too and is Motovlogging from Cebu Philippines. Thank you man! Ride Safe!
Welcome Brother.
Thanks bro I needed to see this! From Singapore
Your welcome.
Hi Dipen. Will Duke 390 shift lever fit on Dominar.? I have heard duke 390 shift lever is very good. Please advise.
Should not fit as the mount points for the levers will be different in both cases. check once if they are same.
@@dipen.nisar.autovlogs Ok bro. My dominar shift lever is very loose from the pivot points. Let me check if it fits. Thanks for your time ,😃
else get the stock lever. its bolts go loose. keep an eye on those

There isn't one. But you will have to weld another part on the rear end. I had done it on my Apache. Rtr 180. Don't have pictures now.
@@dipen.nisar.autovlogs gr8 can you show me some pix
@@daxk8note247 sorry bro. I have sold my bike long back.
Hey.
Could you advice which grade gear oil to use on Dominar?
Also the fork oil grade?
Engine oil is 10W50. Fork oil, I too need to check. never changed so far.
@@dipen.nisar.autovlogs Gear oil grade?
For Chain Lube, you can use 90 or 130 number gear oil
@@dipen.nisar.autovlogs Like in scooters we change the gear oil, do we have to do the same with bikes as well?
@@harshitsahni27 not with Dominar. That's why I shared engine oil grade. 10w50
Bdia bro which lube you are using that is in yellow colour ?
AeroChem / arrochem is one. I use wet Thick n Sticker lubes. The stick and work well on chains. My bike has done 22500 on current stock chain.
Yellow one I don't recall the name as it was at Autologue. I was at Autologue when I continued the video.
First view and comment man😃
Thank you
Is this oil leakage from gear lever attach to gear box is it normal ??
It's ideally the excess chain lube
Dada dominor a gear change korle ki awaz hoy jore
First gear noise cannot be reduced. This is something that comes in many higher cc bikes too.

its nothing related to floor. its the clutch cable, it would be loose. get the gap adjusted. Manual has details too regarding clutch lever play.

Check the manual. verbal discussions can be too messy.

This is not rust. It's the remains after dust water slush gets heated and hardens after cooling.
