    Never tried before. 8k OGS. Going to watch a few times so i can start gaining experience with this. I do plan on getting extended lessons esp the thickness one but waiting to have some extra time in my busy schedule first. Keep it up!

      The beauty of Chinese Opener is that you actually don't have to know what to do when you are using it. If any fight happens in lower ranked games, the fight probably favors the black player because of the set up.

      @@simplebaduk I tried it for the first time and the opponent immediately attached at the star point of the 3-4 stone. I couldn't figure out if I should be extending along the side or hane on the outside. I chose to extend but now I'm wonder if I should've hane and build a thick wall on the outside instead.

    3:35 I thought the proper move for black is descend at 2-2

      When black has a stone on the left side, black can descend at 2-2. In that specific case, black doesn't have any stones on the left side, so black has to form a tiger's mouth to be safe.
      The first rule of attacking is to keep yourself safe first.
