I had the same thing happen to me. Pathetic that they have a nice aluminum extending ladder but use a crappy plastic latch to keep the door closed.

Very frustrating, we just redid another clasp to make sure it doesn’t fall down at random. I let the company know but they really don’t seem to care. At least we’ve got it set up now to where it’s a lot safer👍
I'm looking for the pole to pull down the stairs I know is color black. Also what stair werner is that?
