Ralph! You've been hiding your talents. All this time I thought Kevin was the cook of the family, and here you produce a spinach pie that looks like it came out of a professional bakery! I am very impressed and will definitely be giving this a try for dinner this week. Thanks guys, for another terrific, easy dinner idea.
Yay! It's Ralph's annual spot in front of the camera :) This really looks sensational. Would be perfect for a brunch or luncheon....or really any time! I just happen to have fresh mint and oregano growing in the yard so this will have to give this a try for sure! Cheers!
You did a great job Ralph as did Kevin. I always look forward to your videos. That pie looked so yummy. Can,t wait for the next video.Have a great day.
Good to see Ralph in front of the camera again! You did a great job Ralph...that pie looks beautiful! My brother has fresh spinach growing in his garden right now so I think I will go pay him a visit!
Great job Ralph! That's a great looking spinach pie. I love you e the fresh herbs in it. You know what would be awesome in that pie.. That Greek white sauce that the Greek people make. Yum, a layer on the top, or mixed in with the pie would taste heavenly. Thanks guys
Ralph, This spinach pie looks and sounds amazing!! I like the idea of adding the Greek flavors, too. The mint sounds like a refreshing summer time addition. Can't wait to try this one..
...Well, I was certainly, blown off of my chair!! It not only looked like perfection but when you sliced it my jaw dropped. I couldn't believe there was not 1 clove of garlic nor a squirt of cream/milk in the ingredients.. and it still looked moist and held together very well. Well done!
Gentleman ! You cracked the recipe my husband’s Sito use to make. The MINT ! Fantastic recipe, may do a crustless with phillo top. Keep it coming gentlemen …. Ive been binging all summer 🩷
Ralph, I am a first generation Greek-American. Very well done. If you need the recipe to the real deal, I have it. I’d be happy to share my mom’s authentic Spanakopita recipe.
Another equally delicious spinach dish is to: 1. Sautee your sliced onion 2. Add a sachet of tomato puree 3. Add bag of washed baby spinach 4. Add salt and pepper to taste 5. Stir until spinach is wilted and sauce slightly thickened 6. Enjoy with dollops of yoghurt You can add lamb chops to the onion if you don't want it to be vegetarian. Feel free to add half a cup of water when adding puree, if mixture too dry. Deelish!
@@cavalcadeoffood I'm addicted to spinach so weekly make either spanakopita or my spinach dish above. I'd happily make them both every week but as spinach is part of the nightshade family, not sure that it's healthy given how much I also enjoy tomatoes and aubergines which are from the same family.
So nice to SEE Ralph instead of just hearing his commentaries! I love spinach ANYTHING too.
Heather Smedley Thanks Heather!! You can't go wrong with spinach ;-)
