This is why Sum 41 were always one step ahead of every other 2000s punk band. The influence from Iron Maiden was there from the start. Even on the first two "lighter" albums, the harmonies were always present. And they perfected their style of metal on Infected and Chuck! Out For Blood sounds so heavy and badass, which means the album is gonna be among the best they've done
they couldn"t be more right. i started playing guitar after sum 41 came out, then got into gob and a hole bunch of other bands. i started playing just by finding tabs for sum 41 songs, putting on there cd and just playing along with them.
@@DanielBeristain666 I already had one. I'm personally more interested in the piano and play it every day. So in my own way, I think I took his advice.

I can fully understand it! I had my Strat and i wasn‘t happy with it. Put a SD Hot Rail in and slammed some Chrom covers on the Singlecoils and now i love it!

Can’t stand the new guitarist who looks 60. I know he’s been in the band for like 10 years now but he doesn’t belong and their song writing altogether has sucked since he’s been around. Why Sum 41? Why?
I liked how they both talk about their weaknesses on guitar. Humble dudes

Sum 41 was always one step ahead because of Dave Baksh
@@tarkus1056 Brownsound was definitely crucial to them. But Deryck wrote the music, so he deserve a lot of credit as well 😉

Omg I love the color of Dave's strat! Just awesome 👌🏾
Penny strat lol
Loved hearing Tom talk. Haven't heard much from him in Sum 41 interviews glad we get to learn about him here :)
Brett Parsons Id prefer he goes to an old people’s home and stay out of sum 41. But whatever.
@@stephendre2902 I'd prefer it if Sum 41 "fans" could be chill with having Tom in the band. But whatever

To this day, it blows my mind that Tom Thacker is in Sum 41. What a legendary line up.

When did Johnny McInroe join Sum 41?
Wherever Tom goes, there's always a hat with him
Dave is legendary
Really cool to get to hear from Tom too, Gob is rad
Dude I was super into Gob back like 16 years ago. Still am. But that foot in mouth disease album was defintely on repeat a lot for me back then!
Chuck is still one of the best sum 41 records
dominick Martino they only have 2 good albums. Soooooo. Obviously...

Sum41 is totally the first band i think of when it comes to paying tribute to Slayer!
Love how the in too deep riff fits together, cool to see them play it side by side
I F***king love Dave. Met him in Portland OR in 2016, nicest guy.

It’s cool that Dave is wearing a shirt for assuming we survive, the band that’s been opening for them on this tour. Stand up dude
And they are fucking awesome live, enjoyed just as much as Sum 41
Disciplus Gaming hell yeah, I loved how engaged the front man was with the crowd and how hard they worked to win over the crowd
Seriously?
Next up: Metallica jams through a bluetooth speaker
These speakers are trash
We found out the day of that we had to supply the amps. Sunday in Cleveland wasn’t the best of spots to rent something.

What’s the song that Tom’s playing at 7:50 ?

What’s that second riff????
"Over my head " if I hear correctly
How come Dave switched to Stratocasters? Not complaining though.
