Awesome video, really helpful, thanks for sharing 🥰 I would love to see more things you can do with css and also more ways to style normal divi menu or custom divi menu (header)

This is the absurdity of Divi! While I build many sites on DIVI it literally drives me crazy with how hard it is to do some things.
This is a good example!!! Having to write some custom CSS just to put two buttons side by side is ridiculous! On your toggle example it is even more ridiculous.
But thanks for making this video, as I am sure it has helped a number of people.
DIVI has some great features, but it is so far behind Elementor and Thrive Architect in many ways. Come on DIVI! Wake up! Having to write custom CSS to just put two buttons side by side. REALLY?

I hear you! I feel like there are pros and cons to everything though. I currently have clients who use WordPress themes that are so bad, they make Divi feel like a dream. For me, the pros of Divi, outweigh the cons so I stick with it.

@@Michelle.The.Creator Don't get me wrong, I like DIVI overall, but some of the issues with it are maddening. Things that should be simple to do can be so difficult and not intuitive at all with DIVI.
You mention themes. Yes, DIVI is a theme that offers page builder capabilities. But there are many other page builders that work great with many other themes.
DIVI can do amazing things, but the developers really need to focus on the BASICS much more.
I still find it hard to believe you have to apply some CSS just to put two buttons next to each other.
With Thrive Architect, which to me is the best page builder out there, I can do this with ease.
Anyway, good video and I am sure it has helped many people.

The more I learn the more It feels like DiVI and/or Wordpress are unnecessary complicated! Why does it take any code at all just to place two buttons side by side?! Why can we not just make two buttons and place them side by side!?

I completely understand. I don’t think that there really is any website platform out there that is completely perfect. It’s really all about perspective. To me I like Divi because if there isn’t something straight out of the box, I have the ability to customize it to the way that I want it to be. I’ve used so many other web platforms and they just frustrate the heck out of me and so with Divi I just felt like it was a little bit better than the others. All that really matters is that you can find the platform that works best for you.

I have the perfect situation to use the technique you mentioned at the end using java script to toggle menu button in and out of different row content. Where can I find?? 🙏

The awesome thing is that you can do this with literally any type of module, you just need to identify the correct class to target in your CSS. I am going to make my next video on how to find the CSS classes to do this.

Hi, is it possible to have 3 buttons in a row on product page in Divi woo-commerce with option buy2,buy3 ,buy 4 at discounted price?

    • @MirkoMancini
      @MirkoMancini Рік тому +1

Hi Ajay, you can put as many buttons as you want with the same technique, but you will have a problem in responsive mode: due to the display: inline-block; they always stack side to side, even on phone or tablet, so it's best done in display: flex; or even display: grid; with no media query at all

With the latest Divi version, these steps won't work. You'll get errors like expected/unexpected rbrace whatever. God! Why can't it accept simple CSS?!! Divi is just fvcking pain in this ass. This could easily be done in Elementor. Looks like I have to convince my client to leave this shlt builder.
