I 100% agree with you, everything about this show, the music, the drill, this was everything I could want in a show, and there's nobody but Bloo who could pull this off. It fits them, this show is everything I think of when I think Bluecoats, and the finals run inspired me than any other performance I've ever seen. I would have had them first that night, on performance and content, but that's just my opinion. Every kid out on the field that summer is a champ, and they should be proud of the work and the performances, but I hope these kids remember this show for the rest of their lives. I know I will

Kalil Olsen It got hate for easy drill, and for the “cheapness” of using the beatles as a concept. I’ve personally grown to like it more. During the season, however, those are the opinions I heard fellow marchers bring up. Admittedly I held my own frustrations with the show as well, but those opinions are shifting.
Honestly by far one of my favorite shows of all time. I absolutely loved the closer in TILT, and I think TILT's closer was better but this was just a better, more hype show overall
Shawn Leslie Crown’s brass is cleaner, but you can’t deny Bloo’s flair. I honestly would have had them 1 and 2, Bloo being number 1 as they have a vision for what they want their corps to be and they are undaunted about it.

Is the pit member on the far left at 1:44 using a Pearl Mallet Station as a sampler?? I have one myself, and never would have thought to have used it like that--I always assumed those parts were synthed up. Really neat incorporation of tech, as standard from the Bluecoats!

Bryce Trevino yeah it’s honestly a lot of fun because they’ve been taking inspiration from the Beatles for years so the to do a show specifically focusing on them, it inherently has some callbacks to their past shows. A neat little time loop.
How many years and how many corps are going to do the squat pose into the right knee pointing in pose before it gets played out? What emotion am I supposed to be feeling when I see the same shit done over and over and over just being shoehorned in?

It seems forced. It's like playing a bunch of notes for the sake of playing a bunch of notes. They have a visually tacet moment, so they just have to force in some movement.
I didn't get to see this because I was the idiot who subscribed to Flowmarching, and with a 300mbs connection, couldn't manage it. I don't get how we're supposed to connect with the activity at all anymore, if we can't even watch it. It's not allowed on youtube, it's only in select theaters, and only in the US, the bluerays cost about way too much. How are we supposed to connect to it anymore? Get a better streaming partner, or continue to bleed viewers, up to you, DCI.

All the big white disks on the field were distracting litter dwarfing the magnificent costumes and wonderful marching and playing. My favorite show of the year!

I like this show. It has a lot of grooooooooooooovy in it maanannnnnnnnn. And not to mention MEANING and COHERENCE or somethin' mannnnnnn. Except not much emotional communication from the design brahh. But the music makes up for itttttttttttttttttttttttt mostly 😃😃😃😃😃

Very much how this nation looks down on the genius of Sousa and his marches, while the REST OF THE WORLD recognizes the gift given by The March King. Who would they RATHER be explored?!? Michael Jackson?!? Spice Girls?!? Spike Jones?!? More Holsinger, Mahler and Barber -- year after year after year after friggin' year?!? I'm not always enamored with the treatments of this portfolio by the Canton unit over the years ... but at least they look for genius where it lives, as they return to the gift from Liverpool time and again, to continue to educate the masses of the layered revelations of John, Paul, George & Ringo (when Dave Grohl worships Ringo, maybe percussionists should back up and STUDY the sagacity of Starkey)
Bluecoats are awesome. But with that being said, I surprisingly just can't be that entertained by this show as much as other people are (not saying its not entertaining, just didnt get much into it as other shows.) Maybe seeing it live would have changed my mind idk. Definitely unpopular opinion but I enjoyed blue devils show a lot more lol. I really loved their theme.

There was rarely any time that they weren't being used or moved around, and the wall props were the best props that got put on the field over the summer. Bluecoats had way too many props that were barely used, specifically all of the tarps that were only used as a slight visual flair that got old after the first time. It's okay to have a lot of props, but a lot of props needs justification, which a lot of bluecoats props did not have.

That's me! We used the Pearl Malletstation more as a synth and I had a sample keyboard on the top right of my cart.
