Strolling in Samos, Greece

Hi, folks. Last month I visited friends who had just moved to the island of Samos in Greece, way over in the eastern Mediterranean, not far from Turkey. I shot this 3 minute video on my iPhone 13 Mini during our hikes to the beach with their sweet and very energetic dog, Simone. The song, "Partides" is a popular Rebetiko tune which was written in 1951 and has been recorded by many artists since then. Rebetiko is the Greek equivalent of the blues and there is lots of it to be found online and on UA-cam as well. Check it out! If you love raw blues you just might love Rebetiko!
