I imagined that both Sonic & Co. and Trip's stories are happening at the same time. So while Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles are dealing with Eggman, Amy & Trip face off Fang.
I wish there were more Sonic Classic Characters like Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel…They could be all DLC characters for Sonic Superstars Plus!
So I quit the Egg Mecha boss for a sec to cool off, and found out the hard way this game doesn’t save checkpoint progress like Origins. Good job, devs. Almost as bad as making the boss take forever to begin with. I hated it with the OG Death Egg Robot and I hate it here
Trips final boss is awful... I keep dying on the 2nd phase near the end 🤬 it takes 5 mins or more just to reach the 2nd phase. So much waiting around aughhhhhhh!
@@mathieul4303 that's exactly why im confused lol. we have them, the emeralds that can manipulate time and space itself so how did he easily manipulate that power with a simple hour glass? it's a big feature in the last stage too so to not have an explanation only makes me wonder even more

Why does the battles see recycled, the first one its pretty similar to the Death Egg Zone 2 Boss of 3&K and the true final battle its too similar to the Sonic Mania Boss and with some of the Sonic.exe boss battles of the fangames like Sonic Nightmare Beggining or Spirits of Hell
I don't know on ps5 but on switch trip final boss was a nightmare, because half the time the clone and minion attacks bug out and you CANT damage the boss, oh but it still hits you if you get it wrong. Spent like 2 hours because these bugs and 1hko bullshit. Never again
For the Eggman final boss I had to keep jumping early for the beams because the game would lag right before they shoot (when they flash and make the sfx) and it wouldn't let me jump during the lag. It was scary and definitely killed me a few times. I only had the glitch with Trip one time but my game did crash in the cutscene right before Act 2 luckily I didn't need to play Act 1 again
I wonder if more super forms evolutions will come in the next Sonic game after Super Sonic 2? Considering that the developers managed to pull a dragon ball in frontiers in terms of super forms.
Let's see modern fought Solaris, Dark Gai, the titans, The end, Mother wisp, Metal Overlord, etc. Yes, he can, and I'm not talking about power wise either.
Modern Super Sonic even before the Final Frontiers update was already the definition of Super Sonic but I will admit Classic Super Sonic fighting a reality warping dragon is impressive.
@@christopherford39 Honestly, until they can somehow make Mother Wisp into a bigger role that can make her canon outside of a DS game, I can't consider that fight canon, but still, modern Super Sonic is still very much "Super"

I always admire the creativity of Eggman and his Sonic destroying contraptions when he clearly has the resources to just nuke him to oblivion.

There are no time limits in this game apparently. Once the time runs out, it keeps going as the text turns red, and you don't die.
