@the walkin dude Go to the Buffalo Bore web site, go to the 45 colt in the hard cast version that would be used in a lever action rifle and then read what it says about certain ones not being able to cycle through a Henry,so, I was wondering if these new x rifles would cycle the longer hard cast from Buffalo Bore
@the walkin dude You're wrong . .45LC stands for "Long Colt," which is a synonym for .45 Colt that has slipped into the vernacular over the years. As for the problem with the Buffalo Bore loads, it's almost certainly nothing to do with the length of the rounds, but the profile of the bullets that makes them finicky about feeding through early model Henrys. After all, those Buffalo Bore loads still have to fit in the cylinder of the Ruger Blackhawk (NEVER fire those in Colt SAA or Colt SAA clones!) revolvers, so they would also by default fit in the action of the Henry.
