Some fun facts for you guys: I think all of this footage is from Apollo 16 with John Young and Charles Duke. At the time, John was 41 years old and Charles was 36. During that time, they drove their rover for about 17 miles and collected a little over 200 pounds of moon rocks. Sounds like a fun weekend vacation if you ask me.

just watching this stuff is so inspiring. I really hope the artemis program gets up and running soon. So we can get some people back on the moon. Also, while I'm here, here are some things I noticed that help disprove the landings were fake: The dust the astronauts kick up doesnt stay in the air. It falls right back down. This would only happen in an airless environment. and while im talking about airless environments, notice how dark all the shadows are. You can't see anything thats in shadow. This is because there's no air scattering the light. Moon shadows are nearly perfectly dark. People like to claim its in slow motion, and thats how they made it look like low gravity, but there are some movements the astronauts do that can only be done in lower gravity. Notice how they didn't have to bend down to pick up rocks with their shovels. They just bent their knees. Because they're lighter on the moon, they can be supported easier. This is also seen when the astronauts trip. They're able to bounce back up very easily, and can clearly keep their balance for longer than they could in regular gravity. So, the dust doesnt fall, shadows are darker than normal, and the astronauts have strange movements. It's almost like they're in an airless, low gravity environment...
And this is an example of people living life to the damn fullest...and loving it. This was such a miraculous experience for them that I'm convinced had they ended up stranded there they would still be having fun.
Yahoo i keep coming back to this video every night to give me some peace of mind that these dudes just had fun on the moon this video just makes me so happy idek why
Asma Khan, it’s because there is no wind there to blow the sand on the footprint. That’s why you don’t see dinosaurs footprints since dirt/sand gets blown on top of it after millions of years.
And that was a great movie (documentary) -- one produced by Al Reinert with the cooperation of NASA and using films they had in cold storage at the time. I saw it in a movie theater in 1989. There wasn't much film footage available to the public back then. (Just those old 30 minute official NASA school films of each Apollo mission -- with the grainy footage.) ....So, practically all through the Nineties this was the best Apollo Moon documentary out there -- and available on video cassette -- for those fascinated with that era in our space program. (I was too young at the times of the actual missions to appreciate them.)
Humans: we are intelligent, we can do anything even the impossible. Apollo: look at the size of that rock! The astronaut sounds like a kindergartner and it’s cute
Cray-1 supercomputer that was built 4 years after the last apollo mission is 100x slower than the phone you have in your pocket right now. The apollo guidance computer that controlled these missions was less powerful than a calculator you can buy in dollar store today. The only thing that is slower than that computer is the brain of people who think that this video is fake/edited.
The people who say the moon landing was fake all have one thing in common. None of those people have ever been so much as *hungry.* It's the sort of atrophying of the human soul that happens to people who have never had any concept of hardship in their entire lives.
Honestly it's amazing how fun they were having while being over 350k kilometers from Earth. I wish we could go there again just for other people to goof off like these guys.
idk man. Life or death situation with 1960's technology where the slightest of errors could be death and they're playing golf for the camera? All the original files of the landing got "deleted accidentally" ... Maybe we went, maybe not. We haven't been since I say we go back
Oh my God one time I was playing that game I forgot the name but I thought I saw a trashcan move so I shot the trashcan I turned around for one second and then a typhon on my face
I love this video so much. There is no greater example of people are always people. They're fighter pilot engineers, some of the first few humans on another heavenly body, in a place that will kill them if they even slightly mess up, and their human tunes, laughing while skipping, making fun of each other for being messy and pointing out cool rock before showing them off on camera. It's cute to see no matter how far we go we're all human.
I know there's a lot of people who do not believe the apollo program was ever actually on the moon but theres something that has always fascinated me about this part of the cold war. At this point America committed to a war in Vietnam that could not be won, armageddon was near imminent, America was divided, the American economy was not great, and here these American astronauts are on the moon.
The footage and the audio are actually from different parts if you want to see the real rock their talking about look up house rock and you'll understand why they're talking about how big it is.

That sounded very close though
Sounds like amogus
Those footprints they made are still there right now, as perfect as the day they were created. Incredible.
How do u know
Asma Khan, it’s because there is no wind there to blow the sand on the footprint. That’s why you don’t see dinosaurs footprints since dirt/sand gets blown on top of it after millions of years.
They missed the perfect opportunity to moonwalk
From the 1989 NASA film, "For All Mankind". My favorite part.
Brother is this footages are real?

Am I the only one who finds this absolutely amusing and hilarious?
Even funnier with the Rover they brought up. That's the lucky privilege of the later missions :)

Cray-1 supercomputer that was built 4 years after the last apollo mission is
100x slower than the phone you have in your pocket right now.
The apollo guidance computer that controlled these missions
was less powerful than a calculator you can buy in dollar store today.
The only thing that is slower than that computer is the brain of people who think that this video is fake/edited.

It's a shame that people risk their lives to get to the moon and others just say it would be fake
The people who say the moon landing was fake all have one thing in common. None of those people have ever been so much as *hungry.* It's the sort of atrophying of the human soul that happens to people who have never had any concept of hardship in their entire lives.
don't see how it could be fake the way they're jumping its almost like they're under water.

idk man. Life or death situation with 1960's technology where the slightest of errors could be death and they're playing golf for the camera? All the original files of the landing got "deleted accidentally" ... Maybe we went, maybe not. We haven't been since I say we go back

*"I'm pissing on the Moon!"* (if you know you know)
I love this video so much. It's cute to see no matter how far we go we're all human.
why is this so wholesome

It mustve been super terrifying but extremely exhilarating at the same time.
These astronauts are test pilots. They spit at fear
What was wrong with the economy?
