Each show is staged but the UK version is the most obvious, the recent cliche of the accountant that is super organized & only wants to try on the one dress then of course it doesn’t suit her, a perfect example of not being genuine & just fake.
The amount of thought that must go into these dresses is insane. Like, not just the design but the materials, and the patterns. It's just crazy and I love it all.
Lori, "He doesn't like you like the likes me." Hahaha. "You spend all my money!" Hahaha again. 4:00 That tea-length dress with the silver embroidery - swoon. The dress with the raised waist is perfect for slightly pregnant brides or those with a tummy.
I love Monte. He's dashing, so smart, and has a keen eye for fashion and detail. I could stand around and find so much wonderment in every detail he points out. His voice is so soothing, and Lori, I love her too. She's smart, she's sassy, she's fashionable, and she's a total mood. I'm living for it.
Awesome designer, and seems so caring and sweet, besides having a real eye for bridal fashion. I think that it's most important to have a heart for the work even more than having a particular technique down.
Lori & Monte are their finest! Plus the designer is so talented at the *craft* of wedding dress design. It was interesting to hear him talk about each dress. The Antoinette dress gave me chills: perfect mix of classic & modern.
Love watching Lori and Monte, if you haven't seen the video of Monte helping a boy named Jayden pick out a gown for his mother look for it. It is priceless!!!!
Their collection of wedding gown was so beautiful and so stunning especially when the model wore it. I can't choose one because all of them are beautiful.
My husband said I wasn't allowed to shop here or at Kleinfeld's in NY when we got engaged after he watched a few episodes with me. "You would blow our entire wedding budget on the dress alone!" Well I doubt that but I wound up spending about $1,900 all together on the dress, belt, alterations, jewelry, shoes, hair, nails and makeup because I could not find a style of dress I liked that actually came in my size (size 8 in bridal) for under $1,300 (my budget was originally $800-$1,000) so yeah I guess he wasn't wrong.
This was so much fun! Monty & his pearls & Lori w/ her REAL Chanel!! Nice to see a terrific designer who really loves what he does to celebrate a woman's figure!! TFS
Great show. I love seeing behind the scenes. Not just the brides trying on the dresses with their enyourages, but also Lori and Monte in New York with the designer picking out the dresess.
I love how Mathew Christopher has the waistline higher, especially for those like me with waists that start just under the bust and hips that begin 2 inches lower than that. I can't wear even medium height jeans or pants, they fall off me when I walk even with a belt on! As for low rise, they don't cover my underwear, in front or back!

I do not like the waist to be “a little bit” raised, hitting the rib cage. That’s the one thing I actively disliked about my own wedding dress (but I lacked the time and money to sew or find what I really wanted). It’s the same problem I have with most ready-to-wear dresses.
Clever! The natural waist is actually higher than the waist...starts at the rib cage...perfectly attractive look for heavier girls like me!!! Thank you for thinking of flattering looks for us on our wedding day!! I love that making wedding dresses was something he wanted to do since he was 10. He has an eye for making women's bodies look good!!! ❤
Christopher seems like a very nice guy. Could not have been easy growing up in Iowa when, at 10, you knew you wanted to design Bridal wear. Kudos to his neighbour, his Grandmother and his Mom for teaching and supporting him. I love the 1920-1930 influences in many of the designs around now. I've always thought the designs from that era, especially Evening wear, were drop-dead gorgeous ( except you have to be a Willow to really rock it). Very Lady Mary Crawley. So lovely and feminine.
