And oh my, I’ve heard buying modest clothing is super difficult in Canada. There are no brands there specifically for modest wear and even buying stuff online and getting it shipped there costs a fortune and it takes weeks upon weeks. May Allah make it easy for you ❤️

In Canada it is super expensive to buy modest clothing from Islamic brands and it is also expensive to by modest clothing from Zara. Good luck paying $100's and more for an abaaya. My aunt drives down to America (Detroit) and they sell abaaya's for $30.
If anyone knows a sister that can sew beautiful fabrics and she lives in Toronto. Please let me know. I found the perfect dress from Zara. I would like someone to sew me a dress similar to it.❤
Had a productive visit to the USA, big fan of salvation army and goodwill stores. Went to Michigan as people were suffering from Covid-19, brought back with me some good memories..

The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are often referred to as the best ten days of the year. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” [Bukhari] Here are some tips so we can all make the most of these blessed days: 1st: Read the Quran: Reading the Qur’an is a good deed and Allah (swt) especially loves the good deeds done in these days. Read as much as you can, even if it is a few verses each day. Increase in Nawaafil Prayers There are a number of extra prayers you can observe during the day to increase your worship and good deeds. 2nd: Make lots of dhikr Our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There are no days that are greater before Allah or in which good deeds are more beloved to Him, than these ten days, so recite a great deal of tahleel, takbeer and tahmeed during them.” [Ahmad]: Tahmeed: Al-hamdu Lillah (All praises be to God) Tahleel: Laa ilaha ill-Allah (There is no god but Allah) Tasbeeh: Subhaan-Allah (Glory be to God) HERE IS THE BEST TAKBEER ua-cam.com/video/0S7mFBYmyBc/v-deo.html 3rd: Istighfaar Use these blessed days to seek forgiveness for all our wrongdoings. In a hadith qudsi, Allah says: “All the deeds of the son of Adam are for him, except fasting, which is for Me and I shall reward for it.” [Bukhari] The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said: “Fasting the day of `Arafah expiates the sins of two years: the past one and the coming one.” [Muslim] 5th: Give in charity, even if it's 1 dollar! Or 10 something else, like toys, food, supplies etc (Yes, you have to fast on the day of arafah, and you don't HAVE to fast all 9 days but defiantly on the day of arafah.) Once dhul hijjah is over, don't be the same person you were before. let this be the time you change, and improve yourself and repent to Allah SWT

Decluttering is great, but honestly you should probably keep the ones you love especially if you plan on having children! I'm a mom of 2 and staying clean is an absolute mission, you'll definitely need more clothes because they will continually get spilled on and marked up with sticky little hand prints! I even had to cut up a prayer dress because my eldest and I had a slime fight and it absolutely ruined the hem :( Always good to have backups.
