Thanks for keeping to the melody. Too many folks add variations and improvs on this tune and stray TOO FAR from the original tune by Leslie Keith. Leslie lived in retirement in Tucson, AZ when I lived there, he was a true legend!!
My grandparents were from Ireland, so I listen to a lot of Irish music, but this stuff is fantastic too. Beautiful family, beautiful music. Sliante!

Good job I have a very musical family too and it slot fun to jam out together we are more rock though but we try all types my dad is thinking about learning banjo cuz he loves bluegrass he has been playing guitar for like ever so he should have good start.

Mr Greer, I am loving every video I've seen thus far. But this song is my favorite! All of you are so talented. Your daughter Emily plays such a wonderful fiddle! As soon as I can, I am ordering some of your CD's. You know, in todays world, it's wonderful to see wholesome families still exist. I grew up in one and my husband and I worked hard on providing that type of environment for our sons. God Bless you!

My 2 year old little girl and I love watching all your videos. I'm a bit of a corney dad who plays lots of instruments (none well), but I just hope my little girl smiles and plays along with me some day like your girls do. I started picking when I was 18, but haven't played in a number of years. I guess I got tired of picking by myself. I've watched some more of your videos, and your arrangement of OBS is really nice!
