That was 3rd day on the Trans Euro Trail route in North Wales. After skipping breakfast and morning coffee we went on to tackle what i beliave is called Happy Valley. Tiredness, fog, rain, mud and slippery slates - i did really get to me and i was ready to give up... luckily Mike has a lot more experiance on rough terrain trails and he was more than happy to pull me out of the sticky situations, and we had few like that while following the TET route...
So here it is a full run on famous Happy Valley, or as i remember - "not so Happy Valley"!

Fair play to you two, I've done this lane many times but always on a lightweight bike, taking your bikes fully loaded, is a challenge, good on you.
It was a bit of the struggle to get it up there! 😂 i wish it wasnt that foggy that day too.. i bet we missed out on the scenery! 😁

Great to see a fellow xtz man doing this. Hope to tackle some of these in the near future myself. Do you find the windscreen extension much help? Did you damage much on the bike during this ride? Gotta respect your friend for his patience too!
Thanks. I did bend my side stand a bit, rear brake lever got pushed in and scraped engine cover off ( the one that is stuck with double sided tape), toolbox got cracked and when i came back i had to change head stem bearings. Crash bars held very well... 😉 windscreen extension - i loved it, on motorway i could keep lid wide open and no wind would blast in my face. That and extension under the headlight worked very well 😉 and yes, my friend was very patient and helpful - kept him entertained with my clumsiness 😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I made that out of 5mm plastic sheet 🤔

Must be different routes l enjoyed the route we did in 2014 , l was a few months away from 80 !
Hats off to you! 😁 Not sure if you are talking about TET route, but if you are, on this trip we did it in reverse 👍 and that was a very steep learning curve that trip too 😊

Fair play mate,didn’t mean to sound harsh👍 I’ve ridden it loads on a 300 enduro,definitely easier than your setup,although I am planning on doing it this year on my ktm790r,guess I’ll probably be making hard work of it then😂🤦♂️

@@trashermoto I used to have a 350 enduro, I got rid and got a KTM 790 ADv R. This type of track is twice as hard on a heavy adventure bike.
