I am loving the videos! They seem so professionally done. We are starting the loop at the Fall Rendezvous in Alabama. I hope our paths will cross. We are in a 27 ft Ranger Tug. (Amy Marie). Hope to meet you somewhere and give Ollie some Love)
Wow Beth thanks for the complement! That would be fantastic, I think the R-27 is a beautiful boat, probably one of the best for the loop. Ollie would love any attention at all!
Probably most often its “Oh la la” but could be anything 😂 We’ve had decent enough cell reception almost every where except one of the sounds we crossed and the Alligator River (for a few hours). Overall we’ve been fortunate!
Got to have coffee for sure, bugs ??? just a for sure part of it always the only variation is the type of bugs, looks like ya'll are still having a great trip.
Thanks for sharing your adventure on America’s Great Loop. Have you guys considered retiring your CQR anchor and replacing it with a Rocna or Mantus? We replaced our CQR with a Rocna 20 on our 36 ft trawler. We sleep much better at night now. Friends with Mantus anchors also report good results.
Yes! We have definitely considered it and finally decided on the mantus, we have yet to install it and try it out but are very excited. I’m glad you have heard good things about them!

I really like how you put on screen where you are, having traveled up and down the ICW its fun to see exactly where you are.
Thanks Larry - we are brainstorming some ideas to do this better for our loop in '22!
Minute 8:25 - 8:32 ROCKS!
Haha thanks Timothy!
We are always so curious what y’all are dancing to! 🕺🏻💃🏻 Do you typically have cell service on the water to work?

Greetings from Norfolk VA! Really enjoying your videos and excited to follow along your adventures on the Loop!
Awesome, glad to have you along for the ride! My first engineering job was for Norfolk Southern RR (in Atlanta though) - Norfolk is a cool area!
Such a beautiful day on the loop guys. The waterway looked like glass 🙌
Thanks y’all!

Haha, it’s just crazy the magnitude of these bugs! They must have just hatched or something 🤷♂️
