Oh my, this was the best video I came across, and I have been searching for one on a yoga teacher training for a while now. Thank you so much for all the information and experience you've shared. I hope to attend the YTT at The House of OM this September 😄
The part about lying down and not falling asleep reminded me of when my wife and I attended Lamaze classes before our first child was born. You had to lie back and concentrate on letting your body melt into the surface. Needless to say, I could hardly stay awake, it was so relaxing. The food looked absolutely amazing!!! The flower colors were so vibrant and the music session you showed looked like fun. I'm surprised you were able to film as much as you did. Also the reference to being sore every morning and not being sure you'd make it to the session reminds me of every morning after hiking miles and miles and then having to start over and do it again. You speaking about the importance of breath and breathing and how it can help you through situations again reminds me of the childbirth class where you learn the power of breathing. Congratulations on achieving your goal and I believe you can now teach these techniques to others. John from MI USA
Thank you so much for your lovely comments John. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. There was so much more I didn't film out of respect to others - especially during breath work, meditation and classes. I didn't want my camera to be a presence or invasion and sometimes moments were too personal for others to film. I agree though I managed to capture some great snippets at times when permission was freely given to film.
Hey there! 😄 Your Bali YTT 200 journey looks incredible! 🌴🧘♀ The jungle views and meditation techniques are mind-blowing! 🌄 Thanks for sharing your transformation! 👏 Can't wait for more updates! 🙌
Oh! Looks like a wonderful experience! And the food looked great! (I work from home and had to stop to go eat, though it wasn't as exciting as what you showed in the video.) And three styles of yoga, with Ashtanga in there -- Whew! That's a lot! Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us!
Just, Wow! Looks fabulous. I really liked the way you viewed the overall course, very informative. I'm currently attending an on-line YTT course, so I wont have the ceremony to attend...but that's ok. All the best for your future with yoga, Namaste
Hi Mary, I thought of you, a few days ago. I was hiking a short way on the PCT, south of Stevens Pass, in Washington state. A pika scampered past me with a mouth full of vegetation, preparing for winter. It paused and looked at me for a few seconds, but I'm not as quick with a camera as you are.
What an amazing experience, well done Mary🎉 How do plan to move forward with this. I think you are quite away up country from where I live. But if you every think of do a weekend retreat type thing. I’d love to come and take part. Thanks for sharing this video. Sue.xx
Thank you so much Sue ☺️ I am already teaching a few different classes and hoping to build it up more as the months progress. After a little more experience teaching I would definitely plan on hosting a retreat, hopefully as early as next year. I have just noticed you have followed me over on my yoga instagram and I plan on updating on there and my yoga Facebook page too of any upcoming classes/retreats so it would be absolutely amazing to hopefully meet you at a future event☺️
@@MarysOutdoorAdventures thankyou Mary. I have a big birthday next year (60), aaa hummm!!! and hoping to spend the year indulging myself in new experiences and maybe taking up some new mind and body wellness ways of living. So I will watch with eager anticipation. Like you I enjoy walking in nature and setting myself the odd challenge here and there. Take care and well done on your graduation.x
Hi Mary, I just signed up for the class. Can you share your whole itinerary with us? Should we arrive early or stay few days after to explore the country? What to bring? Thank you so much for sharing
Soooo beautiful and inspirational, congrats and thank you for sharing. Another unforgettable life experience for you. I’m guessing there was no coffee? Then again who needs it in such a stimulating environment. 🙏🏻🥰
Thank you Anita - although I have a confession to make. I took my portable coffee press and had an espresso in my room each morning before class!! No coffee might have been just a step too far for me 🤣🤣
Hi, thank you for this video. I am also considering booking a YTT at House of Om, I was wondering which location you booked? the one in Ubud Center, or the other one? thanks a lot.
Hi! It was the Amerthan one. They both have totally different vibes so it depends what you are looking for. I heard the one in Ubud centre is really good if you want to be able to pop out and soak up the sights, get different food and be closer to the hustle and bussle including coffee shops etc. It is also a resort visited by guests not doing their yoga teacher training. The Amerthan one is in a jungle setting away from the centre and is only used by YTT students so has more of a 'in a bubble' feel. I hope that helps and if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask away I would gladly help if I can. I don't check my UA-cam messages every day so if you want a quicker response dm me on my yoga instagram @marymansfieldyoga 🫶🏻
Hi Mary, how was the quality of the teaching ? Did you feel safe while your were there? Did you finish the course feeling confident to go and teach ? I am asking as I am looking for recommendations YTT in March/April, I am already 200hr qualified in Ashtanga Yoga and am looking for some further training.
Heyy! I just came across your video while browsing through bali ytt vlogs. I'm considering it but I want to know if you could stay back and teach yoga as soon as you finish the course? Any idea? I'm planning out and trying to figure it out. Do let me know if you know anything. Thanks for this informative video.🤍
Yes you can, but it is a highly saturated market in Bali with many experienced yoga teachers in a small area so I wouldn't put all your hopes on being able to do it - but that isn't to say it isn't possible.

Bhakti yoga is the crown jewel of all yogas. It explained in Bhagavad Gita As It Is.

Yes and yes! It was a wonderful company!
Beautiful Mary! I am headed to Bali in June with House of OM! Are you at the Mansion?
