Lovely quilt. Short story: When I first found your videos I was enamored (?), enticed (?), enthralled (?) with the idea of wine while quilting. I knocked over my very first glass of wine I ever brought to my sewing room! Yes, it was red wine and the fabric was white. 😳. I now have a “drink table” next to my sewing table.
You are a crack up! I watch you on my IPad next to a snoring husband. I just can’t put you down. You make it look so easy. I am about to try machine embroidery after your encouragements.
I take no drinks or food into my sewing room, I’m sure I’d spill on sewing machine, what a clutch I am
Susan Ahn that’s why you put it in a coffee mug. A BIG coffee mug! Beer stein would be nice too. 🤣🤣🤣
Congratulations on ONE YEAR Angela !!!! Always fun and always interesting! love it!
Angela, I thank God I found you!! You have given me the courage to step out and start machine quilting. I can't thank you enough. Your insight and knowledge are invaluable, but the best part is that you keep it real. You ate here to remind us that none of us (even you, oh goddess of machine quilting) are perfect and that is just fine. Thank you again and God bless your journey.
In the closed captioning, the quilt shows up as a “bar jello” quilt. Who could resist watching that? It would make a great table runner. Love your show and I’m usually watching it at midnight!!!!
Absolutely love this quilt and colors. Been down in the dumps these past weeks would love to wrap myself in it would be very comforting. Love your show. Making 12 quilts for my grandchildren to remember me by.
Happy Birthday on your 1st year of the Midnight Quilt Show. You know I would love that bargello quilt MORE than anyone else!
Love it! Nothing is better than sipping on a cup of hot tea, setting a quilting inspiration playlist or a Craftsy class to listen to, and be at my sewing machine creating!
I LOVE your show!!! I have been so inspired and have learned so much. I don't own a quilt, none of my relatives were quilters and quilting never sounded fun until I saw your show. Now I have a fabric obsession, 3 quilt blocks completed, ideas for at least 6 quilts. Quilting juice and fabric fondling, that's what i'm talking about. Winning your Bargello quilt would mean so much to me. It would truly be a dream come true to own a quilt that you made. Thank you for being such an inspiration and encouragement to all of us.
One of the first videos I seen of yours was a bargello pattern almost 2years ago which inspired my first quilt which turned into a mini quilt for my dog. That's a long story! But my dog loves it, mistakes and all! Lol! Love love your quilts and your humor!
Oh and I did a mini quilt to practice FM quilting which will probably become my dog's too. You weren't kidding when you said practice practice practice! 😳
Love your bargello!! I watch The Midnight Quilt Show on Saturday mornings while having coffee with my hubby!! He says you’re hilarious! I love hearing him laughing while I’m watching your quilt videos!!
The Midnight Quilt Show is my favorite UA-cam subscription! I really enjoy each episode (typically while I wake up with my morning coffee). Fingers crossed that this is my lucky comment to win that beautiful quilt!
I am so impressed with your technique of quilting the final quilt top. I have been avoiding the final quilt step of quilting the top so much that I have over 40 UFOs waiting for quilting. My mom has a long arm machine but she lives 2.5 hours away so only up there once a month. I have retired recently and am trying to finish some of the UFOs and your techniques and advice are getting my creative juices going. I have just started using youtube to discover the different ways to quilt my tops and my mind is racing with which technique will work with which quilt. I will be doing some of the quilting on my home machine and taking the larger quilts to mom's to use the long arm machine. I love the designs that you are showing and look forward to more.
Angela, thank you again for another fabulous quilt! You have inspired me to create my own quilt designs. The bargello design was awesome, perhaps one day you will create an illusion quilt. The Midnight Quilt Show is my THERAPY!!!
I love how your program does not drag out & you make me chuckle with your quirky comments. That quilt is beautiful. I love the pattern & fabric colors. Keep up the entertaining & informative show.
What a joy to watch you quilt. Humor, tips, fabulous material ending up with an inspiring project that I can’t wait to do. Keep the fun coming.
The Midnight Quilt show is my most anticipated quilt video every week! There hasn't been a quilt I didn't like yet - and I've made 3 from your show so far! Would be thrilled to win an Angela Walters quilt of any kind.
I love your blend of comedy and quilting tips! I'd love to see some modern quilts with bright solids :)
angela, keep up the good work. you inspire so many people (including me). I stopped quilting three years ago after my mom died. she and I quilted together. you got me off my butt and quilting again. thanks so much. enjoying it more than ever and I know my mom's looking down at me saying,"BRAVO".
I can't believe you've only been doing the Midnight Quilter for 1 year, you seem like an old friend. I really enjoy your quilting tips and tricks and I anxiously wait for each new video, in fact I watch them all over and over. I love you sense of humor too. Congratulations, I hope to see you for years to come. ;)
My choice of drink while quilting is usually water. I make enough mistakes on my own without the help of alcohol. But when I'm done, bring on the wine. Love this unusual bargello pattern. I envy people who make the patterns. My mind does not work that way, but I can follow a pattern. Then if I make it again I can change it to suit my needs. Thanks for all your hard work, it is greatly appreciated. Love the videos.
You should do a special episode where you quilt hungover. The 5AM Quilter. Pjs still on, bed head...the works.
Angela Walters as a mom to a 2yo and a 4yo.. I sure don't need to be hungover to look like I am 😂
Congratulations on whomever wins this beautiful quilt. You are a true inspiration!
You always make everything you do seem attainable with your lighthearted approach and attitude. THANK YOU for your encouragement. Keep up the great work!
Lovely quilt. Maybe an Irish chain quilt sometime.
Love this quilt! I have 3 quilts to finish by Christmas; meanwhile most of my county is burning down so I still havent been able to make a trip to my favorite quilt shop that I got a gift certificate to. The Thomas fire really is getting me sewing because I'm so paranoid about it. Whoever wins this quilt sure is lucky! Anyone would be blessed to have a quilt made by you!
Natalie Tietz I am glad to hear I'm not the only one with lofty goals of finished quilts by Christmas!
Natalie Tietz I hope you and your family are safe. Merry Christmas.
Kathleen blakey thank you! Many of my friends have lost their homes, but my family is good so far. My boyfriend may have to evacuate but we aren't sure yet. Merry Christmas to you too!
I love Angela Walters and enjoy her show so much. Love the Bargello quilt!!
I swear you are my spirit animal ❤️ you can never go wrong with wine and sewing! The colors on the quilt are absolutely gorgeous!! 😍😍
Love your videos! They have inspired me to start quilting at the ripe old age of 24!
Me too, I'm 29! Just think of how skilled we will be by the time we have grandchildren :)
I’m only 22!!!! I get made fun of for it, but I can’t help I love to quilt!!
And the number of brand new family heirloom quilts we'll be able to pass down!
I'm currently under the age of 13 and I love to quilt!! I want quilting to be my career when I'm older. I'm working on a jelly roll quilt. Could you make a jelly roll quilt?
Lainey K. I made my first quilt out of jelly rolls and it was a bargello. I just googled directions. It was challenging but came out beautiful! Hope you get to try it 😊
Angela,Thank you for taking the fear out of piecing and quilting. "Finished is better than perfect." Gives me the confidence to keep working on projects!
Loving the bargello quilt. But I love all of Your videos. You. Are the most fun instructor I have ever seen!
I love your tutorials. you make it look so easy. I would love to know, once you find a pattern you like how do you determine how much fabric to buy if its not noted or even if you want to make it bigger than stated
I absolutely love all your videos! I'd really like to see some 5 inch square patterns. I always end up with tons of charms and no idea what to do with them.
I love the bright happy colors that you always pick for your quilts. You make it all look so exciting and easy.
Angela, you make it look so easy! I love your shows! Besides the fact that you are a great teacher, your personality inspires me to try more than I would on my own. I am a beginner, but watching your videos, I have managed to complete several quilts, and I have taken the big step of trying to quilt them on my own. Thank you!
I'd love to see a series of designs that represent the seasons. The color palette being frosty or jewel toned for winter, pastels for spring, bright and bold for summer, and some rusty or burnt colors for fall. :)
I'm not a quilter yet, but once I make my move to Canada to be with my husband I hope to invest in a machine to get started. I stumbled upon your videos and binge watched all of the Midnight Quilt Show within a couple days. :) I'd love to win this and have it be a sort of housewarming gift to my husband when we're finally together. :)
Pickle dish please!!!
Love the bargello! Thx for the giveaway :)
Love your bargello!! You used all my favorite colors ... well maybe I would have used more purples. Thanks.
I love your show! Have seen them all in just two weeks. I was inspired to start quilting and made a bargello - without a pattern. It became weeery long. Now I am going to quilt it. Have to practice a bit first :)
Love from Norway
You are such an inspiration to everyone! I’ve attended a couple of your seminars in Sisters Oregon and you are just as comical in person as on camera. I learned that “close enough is good enough” and my favorite is “finished is better”. I always look forward to watching your new adventures.
Angela, I love your presentations and sense of humor. You have made me more fearless. I'll keep watching!
I'd love to see a Storm at Sea quilt - or maybe a lonestar.
I love this . You are the reason I started to quilt. I am 82 and just started to learn to quilt in 2 / 2/ 2020. B Suzanne.
Love your show sooo much. Haven't quilted in years, but after watching your shows I am excited to start again. I Love the way you demonstrate how quickly modern quilts can go together, my grandmother & I once made a grandmothers flower garden king size quilt all pieced by hand & thought it would never get done. So I am happy to use some of your quick piecing methods. Happy Birthday & can't wait to see the next batch of shows.
Thanks Angela for being so real and for inspiring me with all your beautiful quilts and quilting! Watching you quilt makes me want to grab some fabric and give it a try!
I'm new to quilting and you are an inspiration Angela, I love your videos. They've helped me get better. What I would love to see is quilts made for a man! How to choose patterns and color for a dude?
Man sewing here on UA-cam is amazing. You should check him out his name is Rob Appell.
You should make a t-shirt that says, "echo, echo, echo". It'd be like an inside joke for FM quilters. I'd buy it! :)
Lorrie Wendeborn Or for teachers when we ask, “Does anyone have any questions?” I would totally buy it!
I have watched this one three times I love it! I am excited that there is only a couple of weeks until the next season of The Midnight Quilt Show starts :-)
My drink of choice while quilting is tea. So glad I found your show, love it and Craftsy too.
BTW you are missing one thing when you do your quilting. Chocolate. :D Love the quilt and thank you so much for the free quilt pattern.
You are my favorite quilting show! I love all your quilts and you are so much fun to watch! Thanks!
I love this bargello pattern. It is a one of a kind! Thank you Angela and congratulations on the OnE YeAr AnNiVeRSaRY of the Midnight Quilt Show😉🎉🎈🎊☄
Very nice! Problem is, if you pick me, I will totally claim that I made it myself! Mwahaha!
Love it. My choice of drink while sewing is a cold Coke. I'd love to know what brand of sewing machine you use. And I would love to see quilts using charm packs and jelly rolls. Those are my favorite precuts.
Rally love your show angela! Want to see you and tula pink do Egyptian inspired quilt.
Like papyrus and lotus etc. Have a glass for me
Angela: You've done it again. What pretty, bright colors you've chosen. Your videos are so much fun to watch. I'm always looking forward to your next one. Thanks for making sewing and quilting so much fun. C. Krinsky
I'm pretty sure it's a Handy Quilter HQ710. Happy to say that I just got one this fall and didn't even realize that's what Angela uses. It gave me confidence to be able to do my own quilting with it (the reason I got it) since Angela does so much on the shows instead of her long arm.
Me, me, me! Please let the winner be ME! Love your sense of humor, which totally makes the show. (You should have seen me lean in when you whipped out those copyrighted block bags. You know, the ones that also prevent freezer burn. Lol!) Love your tutorials. Thanks so much!
OMG...Absolutely beautiful, but that's no surprise. Thank you for all of your videos. You're very talented and entertaining. Thanks Angela
I love it!! My favorite time to quilt is late at night. So peaceful...well until I sew something backwards... then a little cussing. Trying to cuss quietly is a art all by itself. You make machine quilting look so easy! I’m gonna add some wine to my late night quilting to calm my nerves. Happy quilting, I can’t wait for the next episode.
Love watching the channel. It makes want to take the plunge and try to make my first quilt.
Joshua Lonthair you definitely should! But, speaking from experience, my sister and I both recommend Starting with simple squares of fabric and work up to even simple patterns. Good luck with your quilt though! :-)
My husband swore he’d never make a quilt but finally tried it about 8 years ago. He’s now made 4 and can talk quilts with me or my mom and doesn’t feel embarrassed to ask questions. He even bought a sewing machine instead of more fishing gear!! Take the plunge...you’ll never look back and regret it!
I would like to see Day of The Dead designs. Thank you!
Loving that idea! Recently got some sugar skull fabric so would be ideal for this pattern.
Happy first birthday! I love the humor in your shows, and your philosophy that mistakes happen!
At last, a Bargello that looks like I could make it - brilliant - thanks Angela
Also I have tried finding a tree of life quilt(vintage) pattern but can not find one that is one big tree and not multiple trees. Would love a video on that!
Like this one? www.patchworksquare.com/index.php?function=DisplaySheet&sheet=tree-of-life-quilt-block&links=&id=
Ha ha ha if you spill your wine it's just DIY fabric Dye 😂
Love the colors...love the swirls. Looks like something I could do a little at a time. Love the Midnight Quilt Show and the great ideas it provides us with.
This is so nice of you to give this beautiful quilt away. My sister loves bargello quilts and I said I would never make one even though I’ve been quilting since 1986! Just intimidates me I guess. Thanks Angela, keep up the great work!
I love the show but what is it about Missouri that ALL the quilters live there? Geez Louise! I am struggling to teach myself here in BFE Louisiana. Thanks for all the great lessons. I drink Ginger Beer but to each her own -\_🤪_/-
katywhyy
haha.... I have wondered the same thing!!! Something in the water there I think...... Lol
Oh my, I was thinking the same thing about Missouri, my name is katy, and I love making ginger beer. Too funny
OMG!!! I'm from Louisiana, too - and there are absolutely NO quilt shops anywhere nearby! I quilt alone with my quilting video friends!
Bravo ❤️❤️❤️ LOVE you so much ! In try to write in english but I hope you understand ! I,m ont sure If is it there I can participate ? I Will like to know about Twist quilt ! Je confirme que je suis abonnée à ta chaîne ! Merci et Je te souhaite, à toi et ta famille de Joyeuses Fêtes 🎄❄️🍾☃🍸🍷🍷🍷💃🏼😘😘😘😘😘
I love watching your tutorials. I’m new to quilting and you help me tremendously. The way you show the process of piecing and quilting, making it look so easy and throw a little humor in for fun. Thanks for sharing your gift!
I sometimes enjoy red wine as I am creating. Only once did I spill it. Not the end of the world but now I keep my wine glass on the pressing table - away from rulers. Love the quilt. You Rock!
I love seeing the bright colors in this quilt. You have made a knock-out bargello that is so much easier!
I love the modern Bargello quilt.being free and using pre-cuts makes it even better. This one will definite get made this year!LOL
Really lovely quilt......always love watching the midnight quilt show......can't wait for the new season.
I love this quilt. I also love The Midnight Quilt Show. Thank you for showing that quilting can be fun!
Love Midnight Quilt show.. I have learned so much... this quilt is beautiful! Thanks Angela!
well, actually ANY of your quilts would make an awesome birthday gift because I love them all!
Hi Angela, love your personality, and creativity, and winning the quilt would be wonderful! Congratulations on your first year and can't wait to have more Midnight Quilt Show (s) thank you so much!!
I just love your show! I am counselor by day and quilter by night. It seems as if you always add a modern touch to your quilts. Love that.
Congratulations on 1st birthday..may many more MQS episodes of yours come .
Love, love LOVE Midnight Quilt Shows And Bargello!!!
You have made making this quilt so easy. Your style of teaching is so beginner friendly.. if I win your quilt I will treasure it ! Thanks for all you do.
First anniversary of my friendship with MQS. I just love each single episode and waiting impatiently for new one! Thanks to you I changed my mind and do not treat quilting as The Most Stresfull part of sewing. Finally I have some fun while prctising quilting on my new works.
I love watching this show.. and thanks for all the fun laughs.. I think that is so much fun having a give away.. Here is to watching you this year! looking forward to a lot more fun and ideas... thanks Jennifer
Happy Birthday !! I hope You have many more Shows to come. You put the FUN in Quilting!
Love the bright colors in this quilt! I love how you teach us to free motion quilt, that is something I would have never thought about trying until you came along. I'm still afraid, but watching you gives me the courage to try. Thank you for what you do!
Angela, you are my inspiration. Quilting is also my therapy. Your sense of humour lifts my spirits. I hope you come to Toronto some day so I can meet you in person.
I watched it again. I love the way you adapted the bargello into your own pattern, used really fun colors - love this quilt.
Wow you make this bargello look simple to make. This has always been a stay away pattern for me but Angela you make it look like I could be up for the challenge. Keep up the good work. Love your show.
You are by far the best hostess with the best show!
Watching The Midnight Quilt Show always inspires me :-) Thank you!
Love this quilt ! My Birthday is Feb. 6 th and this quilt would make a nice gift. Great show and of course I will keep watching , I really enjoy it. 😊🎊🎁🎈🎉🎂. Happy Birthday Midnight Quilt Show and many more too.....
Love Bargellos in general and this in particular. An Angela Walters quilt would be priceless to me - but actually what you pass on in the Midnight Quilt Show episodes is a large part of my quilting progress and that is equally priceless so I am already a winner.
I love love love bargello. Would love love ANY quilt made by you Angela. But the combo of both is a dream. Thankyou for your awesome videos.
I never miss a video of your show. Love when you talk about your kids. I have a 13 son, I can so relate. Would love this quilt. I know exactly how to use it. I would be Snuggled under it while having my popcorn and wine watching your videos 🍷🍷.
Love it, and I’m not really a bargello fan. Course, that was 20 years ago when I used to quilt, so maybe now I do! And that green is what I am using in the star quilt I got up the courage to sew because of YOU, Angela! Thank you!
This quilt is absolutely beautiful!!! I need it in my house. “Fabric fondling” made me laugh and spit my coffee everywhere, haha!!! You crack me up and I absolutely love watching your videos to learn new patterns and techniques! Oh, and your half bun is on point. I have yet to master a hair bun of any kind. Thank you, Angela!!
Hi Angela I love your show....you are so fun to listen to. This is a gorgeous quilt I would love to win. Congratulations and happy first anniversary with the show.
I have been having so much fun watching your show. I found you on you tube and have been watching each show. Thank you!
I love your modern bargello quilt! I have always said that I'm a great piecer and I just hated machine quilting. It always seemed to bunch up, sew the under fabric to the front, just plain look ugly... I absolutely love you and your easy way of teaching us it's ok ...just dive in and machine quilt it. And echo, echo, echo! Thank you!!!
I’ve always wanted to make a Bargello but felt I was too new. thanks to you I don’t have that fear anymore! I also met you in Houston and it was an honor. Thanks for giving us the gift of your talent!
Happy Birthday!! I just love your Bargello quilt - just crossing fingers that I am lucky. Everything stops in our house until I have watched your latest Midnight Quilt Show. Looking forward to the new season.
Now this is a bargello I could do! Thanks, Angela.
Man I love your show and all your quilts! I laugh out loud, my kids think I'm crazy! 🤣😍
