It's hard to overstate how impressive this is. Just a 12 year old sitting on her sofa with her new mic, and (as you said) tapping right into that "deep musical place". She always seems to be able to just fall right into the song in a split second. Like the whole world falls away and she just becomes the music for a couple minutes. Angelina has so many different and beautiful styles of singing, but I can't wait to hear the next one she does in this style. :)
Yea she is amazing. Feels like she is an old experienced lady singer trapped in a young body. Fucking amazing. And of course, just when I wrote this the coach said my thoughts. :)
Here she does Etta James and then some! As you say, to have that level of consistent sound, it's beyond normal human capability. It's like she turns her body into a musical instrument, I can't really explain it - Angelina's music takes us to a place that words cannot reach - we are so lucky that she freely shares these performances with us. Of course, when her album comes out, I will be very happy to pay for the pleasure of hearing it!

Angelina took us us back to her 8 yr old time frame when she used a lot of vocal fry, which I've always loved. At 12 here, she had in spades! Can't go a day without listening to this marvelous young lady, since 2015.

Yea a 7th grader (who is home schooled) left her math and science and sat down on the couch to sing an Etta James for her music class, for which she got an A++!
I would highly recommend her newest original single at age 15 called A Million Miles. It is nothing like this song, and its a tribute to her grandfather who passed away a year or so ago. It is also dedicated to all those who have lost a loved one. Is a very emotional song and is absolutely beautiful, a masterpiece. There are three versions online. I would recommend the studio version black and white, or the new music video.

Angelina is the barefoot angel with a thousand voices. If I had never heard her and listened to this without seeing her, I would swear a black woman was singing it. Not a 13 year old white Norwegian girl. She is going to be a mega superstar. I just hope that she can stay her.
Angelina is the most complete young artist we have in the world today! Many who sing well, but we can ask them if they can switch credibly between jazz, edm, pop, country, and classical music in no time. In addition to her beautiful voice, you also have a unique communication ability. After Angelina has sung a cover song, I rather continue on her and forget the original artist. She did several covers in Italian, french and english like Caruso, Adagio, SOS d’un terrien en détresse ( Dimash got famous with it), je suis malade ( Lara Fabian), le monde est stone(starmania), vole ( Celine Dion), against all odds(Phil Collins) ,imagine ( Lennon), they long to be close to you (carpenters), some really challenging songs and she is performing them with a delicacy and pitch control that is impressive. There is no way you can sing into the back of it. I, of course, may be missing something and really don't think it matters much.
