That was a beautiful cemetary. Huge trees, little nooks, gigantic monuments, and that stairway looked overgrown compared to the rest of the place. Thanks for taking us there.
My friend, your videos and your passion are great, however please take this suggestion to heart. Take your time, when you show the grave stones, slow down, let the audience read them without needing to press "pause". Anything you come across that is "exceptional", please slow it down and show it for 20-30 seconds.
Love ya Matt...found your channel about 2 weeks ago and have been ADDICTED 🤣. You seem like a cool dude...someone I would definitely get along with. Keep doing what you're doing bro. Much love. From Upper Michigan btw. Got some awesome graveyards up here.
Hi Matt, what a beautiful & interesting cemetery.Such a quiet & peaceful place in a forest area. From the roadside you would not expect to find this cemetery , and definitely not such a large one ( 5000 + burials).Looks like it is planned and devided into sections with family plots, each one surrounded by trees. Most family plots seem to have a marker with the familiy name surrounded by familymembers. The big monument from the Webber family stands out ( 9.11), next to one from the Fox family (10.19).Mausoleum built in Greek style with columns (14.25).Stained glass windows ( 17.22) look beautiful, but hard to see through the protecting metalgrid in front of them. The stairs to go down at the back must be space to store urns, or tools .The Clark memorial looks new.Has to do with a mystery surrounding the burial of these 2 ( father & son). Seems that the tomb they were buried in may have been destroyed.Found some photos of the crypt taken in an article published in 2014.The photographer seems to be the only one who had taken photos from the interior & outside. The structure was built in the side of the hill we see behind the memorial.(photographer : J. Humbracht). This happened in 2016, the man was contacted by police & local newspaper.Enjoyed the exploration, guess we can expect more episodes from this cemetery Matt??. Would like to see more, especially the mausoleums you saw ( and maybe the large one ). Keep up the great work you do Matt, great editing & fitting music. Thanks for sharing and taking us along with you on this roadtrip. Thumbs Up !!.
Hi Matt, good to see you again. The cemetery was beautiful, especially all of the different types of trees, maybe headstones too😊, the stairs going down beneath the Mausoleum was definitely Creepy for sure., also, I hope that some one will cut the fallen trees away from the headstones. Well thanks for sharing another great video, have a blessed day and week. 😎😊♥️🌻
Beautiful place for their final rest, but you need to slow down dude.....it would of been nice to read the writings on the very large markers, you just zoomed by them.....
I found a photo online of the sign at the cemetery entrance and it says the mausoleum is open from May 15-June 1, so you might want to return next spring.
After seeing so many accounts of deteriorating mausoleums, it makes one wonder what's behind those locked doors. I'm sure at least a few of the family members of those inside would be a little concerned, but I'm guessing a lot of cemetery owners don't care as long as the outside still looks presentable.
No family members remain when the mausoleum is that old. We are decedents, but most of us don't know where they are buried. I only found out through a search where some of mine were. Chances are, no family around this old one anymore.
It's unfortunate that you're not having much luck lately getting into mausoleums lately but great videos of the burial stones though. This is very a scenic graveyard with all the greenery and paths etc. Thank you (great videography). Looking forward to your next livestream
What was the date of the oldest grave and graveyard that you have explore and have you ever found any of your relatives that were forgotten over time. Have you ever had a person contact you about them seeing a grave of a relative just wondering.. As always love your videos....

I hope when I die I can be laid to rest in a place like this. So peaceful and surrounded by nature. Very quiet and calming.
The lovely quote was Alfred Lord Tennyson, a British poet laureate. Thanks for the video, they keep getting better.
I was thinking that was a Tennyson quote. Not 100% sure but I think the poem is "Crossing the Bar".
Definitely an awesome place. This deserves a part 2 and 3. Thanks Matt
Well, that was a fun crazy walk. Thanks for bringing us along 😎
This is a beautiful cemetery. Thanks again for coming to MI and exposing us to some places we didn't know about and would never have seen.
My family have a private cemetery in Ky up on tic lick mountain. 4 wheel drive hearse and lots of 4 wheel trucks to bury someone..
Should do video on it! Tell us the stories of your family members that are buried there! I'd watch it!

It's from a poem by Alfred Lloyd Tenneson called Crossing the Bar...about meeting his "pilot" when he goes into the great beyond.
Highland Park in Ionia Michigan! Awesome cemetery! Spent many hours there myself. I grew up in Ionia county. Bears are VERY rare there. Thanks Matt.

@ 16:48 I heard a male voice say "go", that staircase is sure creepy!
Nice upload. It's indeed massive. I think you mean "Second star to the right and straight on 'til morning."
@16:40 ... "TAR-MAN" from "Return of the Living Dead" pops out from inside out of nowhere .......... "BRAAAAAINS!"

That was a seriously impressive monument for the Civil War guy and his wife. This is in Michigan?

I was wondering if you report any damaged graves/cemeteries to the town or state when you discover a problem?
