I have this tool and I absolutely love it. Handy, small and powerfull enough to get job done. I use 6Ah batteries. Those 2Ah are not very suitable for it but still can get around 10m of cut in 12mm plywood with 2Ah.
What's the difference between 6ah battery? Does it affect performance or are you talking about just the battery life? I'm new to woodworking.
@@bobofthestorm battery life, mainly. If you are using it often for long cuts, a larger battery will hold up much better.
afecta el rendimiento de las baterias... se desgastan mucho menos con 6ah@@bobofthestorm
I got it with 3 * 2AHr at FFX show at Kent Showground. Brilliant little product. For my purposes, as DiYer with two bigger Makita corded circular saws, that's fine and I can't justify cost of a 6AHr battery. Can't imagine anyone would use it like this 'review'. Simply not intended for such use
I m fan of the new Bosch generation
It's also worth noting that this can use Bosch, Mafell, Makita, and Festool track too.
Just a big tool in a small tool!
Great for cutting boards
Sangat membantu dalam pekerjaan saya
i have this little devil. most handy tool after my cordless drill
seems perfect for casual diyers
@@croness91 It's more than that. I am now an elderly casual DiYer but do get asked to help with some quite heavy duty jobs. Of course I don't use it like the 'review' and I have 2 larger Makita corded saws up to 85mm cut depth. But it is very good to have in the box for anything up to 25mm (I have separate crosscut and rip blades plus one for melamine and one for polycarbonate). Just don't expect easy depth change to exactly what you want - best to set depth for the session and leave it at that setting
I really wish they managed to make this with a smaller motor housing or somehow angled it so it didn't stick so far out. I'd buy it immediately. I wanted either this or the Makita 12v but both have a motor housing that sticks out farther than my DeWalt 20v 6 1/2 and a lot farther than my DeWalt 20v 4 1/2. I want it for cedar shingles so I can hang it off my belt but I'll probably just stick with what I have.

I want to it purchase
I have absolutely no idea why Bosch does not sell this tool in the United States, I had to import mine and I know that there are many other Americas that have done so as well.
Can you use the same 12v bosch batteries that are sold in the states?
can this type of blade cutting plastic material?
I don't remember the specifications, but probably yes. Although I wouldn't use such a blade with Vidia for cutting plastic.
Not that blade. But there are 85mm blades that do work with melamine and polycarbonate

I'm sorry, the channel is global, so I can't put a link to buy, I don't know what country you are from and what stores you have in your country
What amp battery u used
2Ah
You can't get a 90 degree cut with an angle like that, because the motor sits on it.
The guide square is thin, it does not touch the motor.
Minimum 6Ah battery use
It sounds so slow
its low speed high torque
My guess is that the 12V are the limiting factor.
Slow and steady wins the race. Looks useful for small work.
I just watched this video to see if it's just mine or is it supposed to be that slow, cool device by the way
Why is it the smallest? Parkside is the same size
This is what Bosch claims, I did not measure them with the micrometer.
How much
much
i cant find where i can buy this saw , ebay has lots of them , dont trust it
Do you not have authorized distributors in your country? tools stores?
@@ToolTest i contacted bosch , they dont sell that saw in the u.s.
@@davidkay4174 Try Amazon from a reputable seller.
@@ToolTest The Bosch Rep. told me that buying from U.S. Dist. will void the warrantee , but I am going to get one.
I never get my free hand anywhere near these finger chopping circular blades, especially in front.
Me neither, it's about the perspective in the video
With 1500rpm, not useful for clear cuts.
I find strange that this piece of crap is sold under the bosh professional brand, really not power at all
It is very practical for pressed boards, plywood, thin panelling, lath...
Not every tool needs to be big and powerful to be useful. I can think of many times where a small right-blade saw would have been useful for cutting plywood.
It's a brilliant little tool as so many cuts are less than 25mm (1"). Get separate blades for different jobs. Of course it's not meant for use like this 'review'. However... you could make a case for saying the overall build quality robustness is closer to the DiY range. Setting depth is fiddly. Setting angle is almost pointless. But anyone getting it as professional will have heavier duty saws for heavier duty uses
