Michigan made it to the playoff two seasons in a row, and came up short both times prior to the key 2023 players deciding to come back and pursue a National Championship. That's a pretty big difference between the culture and momentum of Michigan and Ohio State. I'm convinced 'The Game' will come down to Wink vs. Chip. Looking at both men's NFL resume has us very confident here in Ann Arbor... Advantage Michigan.

Whenever they play a real team outside of South Bend they lose. They are easily the most preseason overrated team over the last 15 years besides Texas. Show me, show me, show me, against real teams!
I’m sure the stats are out there somewhere but it seems like ND generally has a winning record against teams ranked lower than them and a losing record against teams ranked higher. Obviously there’s some exceptions in there but my point being it seems like They’re usually ranked pretty accurately. I’ll try to dig up some stats on that otherwise it doesn’t mean much for me to just say it.
On paper, our team looks like our best team in quite some time. That's assuming Riley Leonard plays like we're hoping. Our defense was a top 5 defense last year, and most of it returned.

If ND was in the Big Ten East for the last 10 years, they would have never made the playoffs. Never. Overrated. Still top 25 team but usually doesn’t belong in the top 10.
